I love the food at this place! I have had many of the menu items, both on-site and carryout. The only bad thing I can come up with about them is that they are closed on Sundays.

The person in the drive through window today around 7 was excellent. Very nice and courteous. King Gyros is an institution in Whitehall. Will return.

Up front, this is hands down the absolute BEST gyros I’ve ever had. Never had I considered putting salmon in a gyro, but after eating here it’s all I’m going to want! I equated eating here to if the only taco you had ever had was from Taco Bell and the only Burger was from McDonald’s. Then you go really nice tacoria or burger spot where the food is made love and soul. I thought I had had a gyro before, but what I’ve had was only a cheap imitation. And I like gyros! But I LOVE these. The gyros come in absolutely massive sizes. The fires are fantastic (like everyone’s favorite fair fries, but available year round!) as are the soups. Both the lemonades and teas taste fresh and house made.I got to talk with the owner for awhile in my last visit; very down to earth, humble, passionate, and, as if this writing, has been in the business for over 30 years! A man perfecting his craft and still finding ways to make it better. This is my new favorite Greek spot in Columbus. If you like Greek food, you’ve got to make it over there!!!Parking: Plenty of spots in front of the building.Kid-friendliness: Very homey, safe, comfortable feel. And a kids menu!

New to the area and having tried other Greek restaurants, we have found King Gyros "That" place for our repeated business. Tonight we had the Spinach pie with our meal - a choice we would heartily recommend!!For us the ability to choose a side (e.g, chili, various types of fries, spinach pie, etc.) along with your gyro AS well as the multiple offerings of beverages beyond soda (e.g., mango tea, green tea with passion fruit, etc.) was a great meal topper.4/19/24I have been to King Gyros twice in the last couple of weeks - still a great taste, great service, and the raspberry tea is amazing.

Had a taste for gyros a few weeks ago. In my mind King Gyro but I didn’t want to travel that far, so close to home I went. I was so disappointed. I was in the Whitehall area yesterday and went to King Gyro. Just as I remembered. Still the best in town!!! Drive thru was fast and this was during lunchtime. Cashier was friendly. Worth every drop of gas to go there! Thank you for not changing your ingredients!

Yianni ownerI we'll start off by stating that I ordered the King Gyro. The King Gyro is a very large sandwich on a very fluffy fresh pita bread.I opted to have the feta cheese added to my sandwich. I believe it's an option as she asked me if I wanted it.Once I sat down to eat this Giant Gyro, I first had to remove some of the lettuce from the top as I felt it was a little too much.Taking my first bite I was truly delightful and I was surprised by the sauce, It's not just a tzatziki sauce, it has garlic in addition to the sauce at other places. If you love garlic you're going to love this sauce and you're going to love this sandwich. This was the highlight of the sandwich as far as I'm concerned and I've had Gyros multiple different places throughout the United States. Including in places like Detroit, Greek Town, Chicago Greek Town and in in New York City. This by far is a tastiest Gyro I've ever had and again it goes back to that sauce and bread.I was greeted by the owner Yianni. That's where I inquired about the sauce and I was correct about the garlic.Yianni, was very nice and welcoming.I inquired about the murals on the walls and he gave great detail to all the different murals. I definitely urge you to look at the photos that I took and also stop in when you come in for this meal and also look at all the murals on the walls.Talking to Yianni, I discovered that every wall has a personal experience painted on each scene, including former workers and current workers. You will see all of that when you make your way towards the inside back of the building on the right hand side,You'll see that he's being pulled by his brother or brother-in-law in the ski boat and he's the one skiing.Look around the building and you will see so many different things and when you go outside the three sides of the building the front entrance, the drive-thru side and the back all have murals.Entering this restaurant you're getting a dining experience of wonderful food that is so delightful that you know that you'll be coming back, you get to soak in the life of Yianni living through the walls on the murals. The hand cut fresh made french fries we're also very good, I love the seasoning on those fries he didn't need ketchup or or salt or anything they were perfect as they were made.Upon getting ready to leave I noticed when I was at the drive-thru window when I went outside to take a picture it said they have a passion fruit green tea. So I got that to go and that was very delectable. The decor and the architecture of the building is definitely awesome. The restaurant looks nice too.Entering into the restaurant you're greeted from the outside of lots of different murals. If you look there's great detail to all the different murals. Once you get inside and you look at the menu they have an extensive rate menu to choose from. If you're coming in for a Gyros they have on display samples of the sizes so you can see what you're going to get.

If you charge a man 18$ for a Gyro and Fries don't try and charge him 1.50 for some sauce. Sorry but the sauce isn't that good to begin with.
