The Christmas Grinch has a name... Kroger in the Brewery District... I have been relying on their pickup and delivery service since my brain injuries, but this week they accepted an order for delivery on Thursday, then moved to Friday, then moved to Saturday, then cancelled without notice or offer to reschedule. (I know, you might be thinking it's due to weather, but they are fulfilling orders placed after mine and in fact they can't even find my order now, and weren't interested in order # or screen shot). The multiple people I spoke with on the phone (including management) had zero interest in helping and some didn't even know Kroger offered delivery. They also had zero interest in any solution, even a pick up order before Monday. My physical limitations were also of no interest (by the way, don't rely on using an electric cart at that store...they are usually all taken by able bodied "joy riders") I'm trying to serve a few people for Christmas Eve and can't drive or Uber to Kroger and do it myself due to physical challenges and they won't even offer to set up a pick-up. They could care less. May the Universe reward them justly, and may the people I spoke with tonight find it in their heart to rejoin the human race. Oh and I'm a paid Kroger "Boost" member, so what I have described is their "premium" level of customer service.

Good cakes at a reasonable price.

This store gets a bad rap, unfairly, I believe. It's smaller, older, and the employees are kind and do their best. The REAL problem is the quality of the CUSTOMERS. The majority are rude, obnoxious, foul-mouthed, trash-up the place, and many shuffle in wearing pj's and house slippers. If you have no respect for yourself, you have no self respect, period. At any rate, no employee could possibly keep up with the horrible mess customers leave in the bathroom because customers can't slipper-shuffle two-steps to the trash can. Hopefully, as house prices over here rise we'll have people who received SOME home training. Until then, please don't blame the employees at this store. They'd need an army to walk behind all the fool customers who think of the people with jobs there as their personal maids. One thing, however: Employees should do their smoking BEHIND the store. In the summer, I have to hold my breath as I walk past the noxious cloud. Perhaps Management could set up picnic tables out back, with umbrellas in the summer and a heated smoking tent in the winter, as has been done where I work. At any rate, that action needs to be removed from the public eye. Walking through it reminds me of negotiating the gauntlet in junior high school. It doesn't reflect well on Kroger.

Stopped in here for a few things this morning. They seem to have much more fresh flowers this morning, they all looked so pretty. It was also a lot more cleaned up then the last weekend I was there. But I was in and out fairly quickly today as they had most registers open.

Seems I find myself short of one thing or another from time to time later in the evening, and am a bit of a "Night Owl" from time to time.Pre Pandemic shopping late wouldn't have been much of an issue, but it seems all night grocery & big box stores are mostly a thing of the past. Some of the shelves are stocked a little thin but usually I can find suitable items or reasonable substitutes that work. This particular Kroger is at least open until 11pm many nights. And so an occasional mad dash prior to closing can be the answer to unexpected household needs, and I'm glad they are here when I need them to be - a wee bit of a drive but closer stores are just not open at the moment. Thanks Kroger.

The Columbus Saldano Blvd Kroger is by far the worst Kroger store in central Ohio. I have shopped at many but unfortunately this location is what I am stuck with when I am short on time since it is near to my home. It is obvious this store is neglected by the chain and the manager. When you first walk in you immediately notice the filth and the neglect (or even when looking from the parking lot). There are never any handbaskets by the entrance and I always have to fetch one by the tall pile at the self-checkout; apparently it is nobody's job to return them back to the entrance. The selection on the shelves (when somebody bothers to stock them) is also very poor compared to other locations, even though the store size is not smaller than some of the better ones. I don't think I have ever seen a single employee in this store smile. The difference between this location and others is night and day. Just because this is in a low income area does not justify the poor management and condition of this store.

One would think that a company who has prospered so much in America, that they could at least fly an American flag especially since there's an empty flag pole outside .

This Kroger wasn't always the best before the pandemic, but it was local and I like the majority of the employees. They was often out of stock and the customers who shop here can at times be the root of the problem. Now with the pandemic and the rules on masks this place sucks. Apparently if u have candy in your mouth the rules don't apply to you. There is on average 10% of the employees who don't mask properly and that damn security guard...hahaha! He has absolutely never had his mask on and at ALL times has candy in his mouth. He always gets smart with customers who say something. He says "I'm eating, I'm aloud to eat" That's not eating, that's snacking on candy all day and using it as an excuse to be an asshole. He is a Columbus Police Officer, not just some kid mall cop. As actual eating goes there is a break room for that. I have heard multiple customers have altercations with this man over the last few months and always mind my business. As of today though I will be falling in line with others that no longer shop here. I hate that from now on I will go out of my way to go shopping at a different kroger and am so thankful that I have the means to do so. I know of a dozen other people in my surrounding area that have stopped shopping there because of this man specifically. Sorry Officer just as I don't allow my child to speak with food in his mouth, I don't want to be spoken to by anybody as I enter or leave a business establishment with anything in there mouth. Perhaps had u had your mask on I wouldn't have seen the gross chewed up whatever, as you try to smile with shit all up in your teeth!
