Lady Nay's Caribbean and Soul

Rude and unfriendly employees. I asked how long my food would take, and the guy just said he didn’t know. The jerk chicken tasted dry and the rice was plain, and food was served cold. The guy didn’t even put the gravy on my rice. This is fake Jamaican restaurant. 13 dollars with no side only rice and peas? He added pepper flakes to make the top to make the jerk chicken spicy. What in the world. I will never go back. Don’t even waste your money. Eat some place else.

The entrance and exit are ridiculously narrow. The parking lot needs an overhaul.

This was my first time visiting this establishment. I'm visiting Columbus from out of town, and decided to give place a try. Customer service was lacking. The man taking the orders wasn't friendly, pleasant, or welcoming. The food was meh. It lacked the Caribbean flavor. It was decent, but definitely needs work.
This isn't a place I'd ever make that 20 minute drive to again.

I've now been to Ena's (north Columbus), Val's (east Columbus) and Lady Nays (South Columbus). I like them all for my own particular reasons. As for Lady Nays, the barbeque jerk chicken is as good as anyone's, the meals have a home-cooked type of seasoning, and it may cost a lil more but they're filling that plate all the way up, so it's still good bang for the buck. That's definitely enough for 2 meals +.

The food was good and the customer service was excellent. It appears to be a small family owned restaurant. I would definitely go back.

Edit: I returned and found a mattress laying on the floor and trash around the building. It wasnt like this the first time I visited. I would never go back, now. It doesn’t seem too sanitary now.

I paid 20 for a small jerk and Mac with 2 cornbread and the macaroni and cheese was not even cooked threw I was disappointed 😔 we gotta do better cause I work hard for my money as you do. Damn

Run don't walk. The food is always hot and fresh. I've been going regularly for the last week and so far my favorite dish has been the pepper steak and onion with rice and collard greens. So so good. Just look at the picture 😂 it says it all

I went at 9pm on a Tuesday. They close at 10pm. Never been there before. The lady was soooo nice!! She asked me about different things I liked/didn't like, to give me a meal I would enjoy. Lots of food! It was delicious! I got curry chicken and another kind of chicken. And a nice piece of corn bread. Total comfort food! This is a to-go place. No tables anywhere.

I've had food from here several times. But today I must say was the worst ever. Ordered fish and fries and large BBQ jerk with rice and cabbage . Long story short my dog got all the food. The worst experience ever!!!!

It’s always a pleasure to get food from here and it’s does taste good but, they’re slacking just a little. However, I do enjoy the food. Always received great service.

The beef and peppers with cabbage, mixed veggies, and rice were DELICIOUS 😋. Everything was fresh 😋 The young lady who served me my food was nice and had excellent customer service. I will be back to try a different meal.

really wanted to love Lady Nay’s Caribbean and Soul, but my experience was just okay. The mac and cheese was hard with no flavor at all, and that was disappointing because I was looking forward to some creamy, seasoned goodness. The jerk chicken was mediocre but not terrible, but it didn’t have that bold, spicy flavor you expect from good jerk. The vibes and staff were fine, but overall, the food didn’t hit the way I hoped. I’m not sure I’d go back unless I hear they’ve made some changes in the kitchen.
