This summer I spent a month in Taiwan and have been missing the food terribly. Lan Zhou reminded me so much of the small little noodle shops with incredible food I grew to love while abroad. Their beef noodle soup was lovely- the greens on top were perfect and the beef was tender. I prefer a slightly more springy noodle, and these were very soft and tender- not my favorite, but I can't complain.
I'm very excited to return.

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH they were temporarily closed for summer break until the last week of September, and I’ve been waiting since school started for their return!!! They have quick service, an enormous menu (200+ items), and a small dining area (~20 indoor seats + 1 outdoor table). The pickled mustard & shredded pork noodle soup, enoki mushroom & shredded pork noodle soup, seafood noodle soup, and pork cabbage dumplings are standouts. I appreciate that adding spice is always an option. The noodle soup portions are large; the texture of the noodles varies, but they tend to be on the softer side and have less of the QQ texture I enjoy. The vegetable toppings on the noodle soups are so delicious. I especially like the potato and cabbage! The meats tend to be more chewy than tender, but still good. Overall, awesome place for a quick and delicious meal!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant on campus. Great food, quick preparation and very friendly service. I am curious when you are reopening now that summer is done?

Legit. Cheap, quick. No frills but tasty. I had the shredded chicken with noodles. Hot, tasty. Had a couple of baby bok choy leaves tucked in there. Perfect.

I ordered Uber eats so I can’t speak of their service or atmosphere but I am an avid cook who’s made both dishes that I bought today. Their braised pork belly is subpar at best with no lasting taste and barely passing the tender test. The reason I’m upset is that lots of these restaurant will have bao buns or steamed buns on their menus but the one I received was obviously frozen prior and wasn’t homemade. You can buy a bag of 8-10 of them for about $10-15 dollars at a Chinese store. These guys buy a bag then sell each one at $4 to make a profit. I thought this place was supposed to be authentic.

I have been getting their beef noodle soup for almost 2 years now, and I’ve never seen their quality drop so much. Literally went from my favorite place to getting 4-5 pieces of small chunk of meat. They need to get it together

Orderes Spicy Beef noodle soup, tomato and beef noodle soup, yang Zhao fried rice, and spicy chicken with rice.
Spicy chicken came with more vegetables than chicken.
Beef noodle was served in beef cubes, not bee slices. The beef doesn't have any seasoning and tastes bland on its own.
It's OK. Not the best, but it's OK for Chinese food.
