LAS CARRETAS MEXICAN RESTAURANT BAR AND GRILL

I had the lunch fajitas, everything was great! I really liked that the salsa had a little spice to it. I wish I could come back but I was just passing through the area on my way back to Philadelphia.

The waiters can't understand anything you say this is. My sister asked for a small bowl of cheese as did I. He did not have to pay for it I had to pay $4 for my little bowl. It was also extremely hot in the entire restaurant.

Was very unprofessional, came out with friends order but not mine. They started to deliver her food to another table, until table told them it was our food instead. They forgot about my order and had to put it in while my friend ate her food. She asked for a glass of water and took over 15 minutes to get water. My order finally came out after she was already done eatting. While there, we saw another person get liquid from a plate spilled on them. And the chips that came with the chips and dip were barely warm. Food overall was fine, but the service was alot to be desired, safe to say we won't be going back.

The house margaritas were amazing, tasted just like skinny margaritas, very strong I loved them! There was a slight language issue with the waitress but she was very nice and we figured it out. Chips were fresh, salsa had a nice kick to it. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I got the beef nachos to go. Decent customer service. I went to sit at the bar while I waited and was not helped or offered a drink. It could have been closed or just understaffed with employees tending to tables? But overall, the restaurant wasn't busy and multiple employees walked by without acknowledging me.The meat was terrible and ruined the whole thing. It tasted old and burnt and dry and just left a terrible taste in my mouth. I'd go back and try other menu items- especially since the queso on the nachos was pretty good. I just didn't have a pleasant first experience.

The service was not the great. Place wasn't super packed. May be low on servers. Drink and food orders were wrong. I ordered a vegetarian item and it had chicken in it. Sides were cold. Took forever to get kids meal once received chicken was cold. Took to long to get someone back at the table asked for boxes just to get out of there and had to wait forever for that. Price of drink on receipt didn't match the menu price. Would say 2.5 because server seemed nice.

The food and beverage is excellent. I would rate it a five but the last two times I have had servers who had difficulty taking my orders because they had limited English speaking skills. This will not keep me from going back but this is something they really need to fix. The servers are nice enough and work hard but when ordering I would like them to be able to take my order without having to go get someone who can interpret.

Two months ago I would've given this restaurant 5 stars, but they recently had a change in ownership and now this place is just different. It used to be me and my husband's favorite place because of the awesome customer service and the Happy Hour margarita specials, but now they have almost an entire new staff and their drinks have gone up. Smh! I don't think we'll be returning their for Happy Hour anymore. It just isn't the same friendly environment.

My first time at Las Carretas and i was very happy about the experience…Great service,great presentation, and tasty food. The seafood soup is the best i never had…The service is very fast,and they are friendly.

The restaurant was clean. The service was friendly. I am giving a three star rating based on the taste of the food.For the appetizer I ordered queso. That was pretty good. For dinner I ordered Chimichanga Supreme. That was not as tasty. In my opinion it was just flavorless and bland. The beef tasted like just fried ground beef with no seasoning. The chicken was a little better but not by much. The beans and rice were also bland and to top that off they were cold. To say the least I was disappointed.I'm not sure I would recommend this. I will try one more time and something different before I say yay or nay on this restaurant.

When we experienced this place there were 8 guests. This was ?winner. Their menu had a huge variety of choices food was amazing had a lot of flavor with large portions as well. A must stop if in the area.

Great service, amazing presentation, and awesome food. The portions were on point and the new bartender Speedy is amazing at his craft.
