I cannot believe now THIS place is ALSO closed. I'm starting to think God Himself does not want me to have chocolate croissants. In a city the size of Columbus there is now nowhere to go to get the real deal anymore.

Wonderful pastries, wonderful people. The croissants are crispy on the outside, perfectly tender on the inside. They reminded me of traveling in France. The staff could not be more helpful and pleasant, and parking was easier than expected. My only regret is that I wish I had discovered this bakery sooner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Whoa, talk about exquisitely done pastries, cakes, macaron, croissants, etc. etc. etc!! Everything sold at Laughlin's is baked fresh daily, and you can certainly see - and smell - the time they put into each sweet morsel. I tried a slice of their Spiced Carrot Almond Torte, and it was so, so, SO delicious! Very moist and bursting with flavor!! The spices mixed with true carrot shreds, just talking about this makes me craaaaaave a piece NOW! The very few pastries I've tried from Laughlin's over the years have been delectable, but only at farmers markets around town. This was my first time inside their brick and mortar spot, and it's sooooo good I no longer live across the street, as my weight loss goals for the new year would simply be tarnished, and I'd be here every minute I could spare!

The best viennoiserie in the greater Columbus area.

Laughlin's is my husband's and my favorite bakery in Columbus! Sadly, we don't live downtown or else we'd go here a lot more often, but ANY time we're in the Short North, we make a stop here, even going a little further out of our way to pick up a treat. Everything they sell is delicious, but my husband and I have a soft spot for their lemon madelienes, to the point where we placed an order for a decent amount of them for our wedding reception. There were no leftovers, HAHA. Give this place a try if you've never been - You won't regret it!

Best bakery in Columbus! So lucky to have such a wonderful small business just around the corner. Personal faves are pistachio pound cake and baguette!

Laughlin's Bakery is a hidden gem! They have a good variety of choices with seasonal items as well. Everything looks so good and is so flavorful that you might have a hard time deciding what to order. The prices are very reasonable. I love that I can get something savory and something sweet for breakfast at Laughlin's.

This place great selection of cookies to sandwiches. The Sausage biscuts were so delicious. I feel was my favorite. Alex was very knowledgable and helpful. Must stop for any occasion.

A delicious treat! Handcrafted, artisanal, flavorful baked delights. Individual delicacies to decadent entire made-to-order cakes. A small business you must visit--you and your inner bakery aficionado will thank me.

I really enjoyed coming here. I got a strawberry danish because it looked fantastic. It also tasted amazing, with a good balance of sweet and savory. Everything there obviously takes a ton of effort to make, and there were a ton of things I wanted to try so I will definitely be coming back soon. It was clean and beautiful on the inside. There is somewhat limited seating, so keep in mind that this is more a place to buy and go rather than stay and eat.

Absolutely wonderful. Baked goods taken to the next level!

I would consider Laughlin's more of a bread bakery with French pastries. just good fresh pastries such as macaroons, croissants, tart like pastries, muffins, brownies and more. Very much reminds me of a bakery in Cleveland we enjoy called blackbird. My son ordered a croissant and I ordered an apple tart like dessert. My choice was moist with tart apples and a light not heavy taste. My son said his croissant was very good. We arrived at approximately 4:40 appr 20 minutes before closing and they still had a nice selection. They might do well to copy a blackbird tradition and make the final hour happy hour and offer 1/2 off the days remaining items. Clevelanders stand in line for blackbirds remaining daily items and might be a marketing tip worth trying. Although even without we will stop back to try out some more of the delights at Laughlin's
