My chicken seemed to be reheated they was rubbery my fries was good. Shrimp was basic my ribs was I’m sure a day old because the grill washed hot. On top of all that the owner was sitting outside when I walked out after spending my hard earned money. He didn’t even say thanks for stopping

I visited from Cleveland Ohio and ordered max & cheese which was not seasoned and dry, the chicken wings were seasoned well but were not cooked to order. It appears as if they were heated in the microwave. The ribs were OK. I didn't like the baked beans. Unfortunately, based upon what I tasted I left the cabbage and corn bread in the hotels refrigerator. I repeated that I was out of town but there were no utensils or napkins provided. I spent alot of $$ and was disappointed!😞

this was my first time there, I did not feel like cooking after such a long tedious week at work and I have to tell you Absolutely Scrumptious, food was very well seasoned,The service was excellent. The food was outstanding for the price (not to mention the variety) very nice atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back. LAWSHEA’s is my go to for soul food!!!!

Today is the first day I decided to try lawsheas. This is in my top 10 favorite places to eat. I ordered the liver and onions, fish,chicken, and rib meal, oxtail meal not only was everything delicious but you get alot of food you get alot of food. Everyone was kind. I will definitely be coming back. Ohhhhh I forgot about the chicken gizzards I don't know how that was possible they were amazing!!!

People please be aware of ordering food from this place, I ordered a meatloaf dinner that was terrible first of all the meatloaf was in burnt dark pieces it wasn't a slice as I would have expected when the girl (MJ) opened the container to show me the dinner I asked her why are the burnt pieces in there she in return took it to the back after 10 minutes she came back with most of the burnt pieces removed but it still wasn't in slice from. The macaroni was dry ( for which I paid a$2 upcharge for) and finally the gravy was not good.I called the next day to speak with a manager(MJ) hoping they had a bad day with their meatloaf she explained no that's how it is she remembered me and said she showed it to someone back there and they said nothing was wrong with it (OMG) I thought she then stated she did me a favor for removing some of the burnt 🔥 pieces. So I reminded her how it looked even to her so much she apologized and took it to the back to improve it. So if that's the standard and result of how they viewed their food and response to hearing a paying customer bring it to their attention I certainly won't be going back.

I don't want to give Lawshea's a bad review. But the food was not good. It was very very OK. Mediocre. I can't call it good. The ribs didn't have nearly enough meat on it. One bite and your tearing off rough, rubbery gristle off the bones and having to spend 5 minutes chewing it to avoid choking. The macaroni was ok. The banana pudding was ok. You can tell the yams are fresh but they had a hardness to them that was off putting.
The cashier lady was nice. They have a wide array of cakes and pies so that's good.
The restaurant looked like it was unfinished or going through some remodeling.
I would only go here again if I was starving and there was no other option. Sorry.

The food was HORRIBLE‼️ I will NEVER eat here again. I’m pissed I wasted $15 because I took a bite of everything is it was all nasty so I threw it away. The chicken was unseasoned,the fish was soft and half fried,the macaroni was nasty and the yams were hard.
