Service was terrible, waited 20mins for warm water in a red solo cup.
This place sounded great for a late night happy hour but our experience was horrible. When we arrived we were offered a bar table and given a few minutes to review the menu. When the server Chris returned he asked if we saw any drinks we would like to order. On happy hour it said that they had a gin, vodka, and tequila on happy hour. The menu stated it could be plain or a cocktail for the happy hour price. We asked if the gin could be made as a martini. Chris offered an upsell for the martini. We decided on upgrading to a different gin than what was on happy hour price. I asked for the happy hour tequila by name as a martini when placing my order despite Chris offering an upsell. Our drinks took forever to come out in fact our appetizers were delivered first. We didn’t even eat one and Chris never followed up on it and removed it with all the other finished plates. When time to place our entree order once again Chris attempted to upsell the entree. We were confused with his questions as we wanted to food as is on the menu. When we requested our bill at the end we were shocked to see that he rang in my drink as a full priced cocktail despite me pointing and requesting the happy hour special. I understand upselling is a part of business but to be upsold on every item and not being charged for what I asked for is disheartening. Between the wait time and the constant upsell I wouldn’t go back here. Our nice late night happy hour experience was an over priced and underwhelming experience. If I had known I’d be paying full price for my happy hour cocktail I would have went to a place with better beverages and food.

Recommended dishes: Seafood Rangoon
Came for dinner with two friends. We sat at the bar and we're served by Lucas who was great.
Drinks: two of us had hot toddy's because flu- season doesn't want us to be great Lol but they were delicious. Friend #3 had a sparkling margarita, 4.5/5.
Dinner
• I had Rangoon - 4/5 great flavor, texture a little off. Unlike "traditional" Rangoon it was less cream cheese and more shrimp which I appreciated. But it could have benefitted from a little bit of creaminess. Also had the lemongrass soup with chicken, comes with fried biscuit. Really goodd, small portion (cup) and needs seasoning, chicken was bland. 4/5
• Pho w/ chicken and shrimp wontons 4/5.
• Combo fried rice- 5/5 her regular order. Never misses, large portion.
Overall good music and vibes. I'd gladly return to try happy hour specials.
Very bad service, there is a long waiting time for food.

The only place during restaurant week that didn’t have a wait. After eating there, I understand why.

Visited for restaurant week. Let's start with the positives. Our server was very sweet and helpful.
Ordered the shrimp teriyaki and the sushi special (fav roll and venom roll). The teriyaki was really thin and soupy and the vegetables were not cooked. The sushi was fine.
We also had the lemongrass soup. Vegetables were again not very cooked, but I did not mind.
I was really excited about the mango sticky rice (pictured) and flavor was okay but the mango was not ripe.
The boyfriend said:
Mango in the dessert was not close to being ripe.
I am sure the Tiramisu is bough at Kroger because it was the only food item that was good.
The only other thing that was good was an item consisting of cold and fermented foods that requires minimal preparation. You could make it at home and save yourself the trouble.

To keep it honest I saw the way that this buisness treated there staff because the food was of low quality I couldn't believe the blame game that took place over the restaurant having poor quality food I had eaten there on valentines day and the manager I talked to was extremely rude and could not exhibit professionalism I felt like I was his boy friend he was mad at giving what I would call sassy behavior and disrespect and then to top all of this off I see a roach run across the floor I tell you this place blew my mind not at all what they advertised to be I'm pretty sure that the owner of this place either does not care and is not present or they just don't know how to run a restaurant pass on this if want quality

Went there for date night ordered the Black Widow roll. I’m assuming the crab was molting when it was processed and made the roll inedible. I asked the waiter to access and she responded with “I think that’s just part of the crab” did not ask if I wanted anything else or offer to replace or take it off the bill. I understand molting is unavoidable but if you want flawless service, which the short north thrives on, go somewhere else

I came with my friends and we were not having a good time there. Our waiter was very unfamiliar with the menu and couldn’t answer any of our questions, they were very sweaty and forgot most of the things we asked for. We all ordered 3 different drinks and not one of us took more than 2 sips and they said they don’t take drink off a check but took of a random menu item. We tried their sushi and it felt like the same quality as a lunchable.

Awful service, matched only by the terrible food. This was our first visit and it sounded very appealing, an Asian fusion restaurant with a Thai emphasis. We arrived and sat with menus for around a half hour- no one even stopped by to say “I’ll be right back.” Finally we ordered, but the server kept forgetting what we ordered and after a long time brought out some food for us, about half of which is what we’d ordered. As part of our dinner we’d ordered hot green tea for the four of us. She brought out a single cup with a tea bag - never a good sign at an Asian restaurant that you can’t get a pot of tea - in a cup with lukewarm water. We then waited twenty minutes, well into our main course, for the other three cups to arrive, also all lukewarm with tea bags. The food was not particularly flavorful and had the texture you expect from frozen convenience food. I ordered my main dish spicy and it was borderline flavorless - charmingly, there was a warning on the menu that it contained Thai chillis, another promise not lived up to. When our main dishes all finally arrived, roughly an hour and twenty minutes after arriving, each one of them was cold, as though sitting quite a while (in the open, not under a heat lamp), and the rice was cold and stale. There were failures from top to bottom at this restaurant tonight. Dining there turned out to be a serious mistake, and one I won’t make again.

It was ok... Bartender was awesome. The food was ok. The shrimp looked horrible...I guess they cooked it. If you stay away from that everything else I had was descent. The wings were actually really good. Get them.

Sigh. Not the same. I have eaten here many times in the past and the food was very very good. Atmosphere used to be busy and upbeat.
Asked about wine and was given an old, smudged printed paper. No prices or much info about any wines.
We planned on eating dinner. But after the appetizers, we left. Everything sat in a puddle of oil and was smothered by a strange gravy. Inedible.
Our server was fine and friendly.
Very unfortunate.

Some things were good others were not, got very hard unripe avocado in one of our rolls and our Paloma tasted like straight lime juice. Sashimi was good.
