I loved the burger and fries!!! The staff was friendly. I tried the soup here (shrimp corn chowder) and it wasn’t my cup of tea. I didn’t like it. However, my experience here was still good and I will be going back to try the other food on the menu.

Closed for some reason despite it being within business hours posted on the door and on Google. Was hoping for food and a hot drink after a 20 minute walk in sub-freezing temps. I'll call first next time and adjust rating accordingly.

Simple. I’m sure this used to be a nice place at one point but you’ve gotten away from that.1. Arrive BEFORE opening time2. Use real dishes… I can eat on foam plates and drink from plastic cups at this summers cookout.

Local Black Owned Business with great service and a small but variety of food. The Shrimp Corn Chowder is Perfect?

We both had never been but liked the fact that it was black owned and wanted to try it. Menu looked good and reasonably priced. The place is nicely decorated. Once we were seated we were waited upon and placed our order: veggie burger w red pepper aioli sauce w fries and the reuben with turkey and pepper jack cheese. The person who took our order didn't work there but was helping his friend out bc it was busy. I think most people were getting take away orders bc there were only 5 people inside. The proprietor, Leon, told us that a big order had been placed before us so there would be a wait. It took 50 minutes. The food was good tho. The fries didn't need catsup. When we got bill i noticed that i had been charged 1$ more for veggie burger. I noted that with Leon and he made me feel bad like it was my fault about the 1$ bc they had not updated their menus. Say what? Anyhoo...nice place and nice food.

It takes them an hour to make a sandwich. If you are in the mood for super slow service, this place is for you.

Delightful little Café across from the Lincoln Theater. Staff was friendly and the food was tasty. Loved the chicken and waffles.

The hours online are incorrect. This was the destination for a meeting myself and others were attending, and when we arrived at 5 PM on a Wednesday, they were closed. We had to find somewhere else nearby to go.
