Very attentive staff. Food was top shelf!
Google really needs an out of 10 rating. I give this place a 8.5. Fresh wedge salad with chicken was awesome. Very fresh and homemade. The service was excellent too.
They had a limited menu and if parking wasn't such a hassle I would have definitely gone somewhere else. The food was bland and overpriced. I had the wings and Mac and cheese. The wings were fried to perfection but were not seasoned. The mac and cheese needed salt and pepper to be edible. The pasta wasn't seasoned while cooking and the cheese flavor wasn'tprominent. The service was nice and the atmosphere was great.
Great drinks esp the one with pea protein and glitter ! I believe it was called the coal miners daughter . We will be back for food !
A True Gem with Unmatched Hospitality!
From the moment you walk into this restaurant, you know you're in for more than just a great meal – you're about to experience something special. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, but what truly sets this place apart is the service – especially one extraordinary staff member who wears many hats and somehow excels at them all - Nichole!
Whether Nichole's hosting, bartending, serving, or managing the floor, she does it all with effortless grace and genuine care. She remembers your name, your favorite drink, and even your usual order – and not just yours, but seemingly everyone who walks through the door. She makes every guest feel like a regular.
Her knowledge of the local area is second to none – bars, restaurants, attractions – you name it. Her drink-making skills are top tier, and yet she never rushes, never misses a beat, and always manages to make time for a friendly, meaningful interaction. Even when she’s connecting with another guest, it’s a pleasure just to hear her conversations – authentic, warm, and deeply connected to the community.
She is the heart and soul of this place, and her energy is absolutely infectious. It’s rare to find someone so passionate and skilled across the board. She makes the experience truly unforgettable.
If you’re looking for great food and a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere with service that feels like coming home, look no further. This place – and especially this amazing woman – is absolutely top notch.
Our server (whose name started with an S but I can not remember) was amazing. Very attentive without being pushy. They have a dining room, bar area (inside and outside seating), outdoor seating, and a kitchen/grill seating area. The food was delicious. Very flavorful. Good portion sizes. I would definitely come back.
Nicole is the best bartender and service professional! Truly a genuine, attentive, and caring person who is great at what she does! She’ll make your day as soon as you sit down! The world needs more people like her!
We popped into Little West Tavern hoping for a solid meal and left with full bellies, mixed opinions, and one fly-related trauma.
The food rundown:
🥩 Prime rib – Absolutely nailed it. Tender, flavorful, cooked just right. No notes.
🍞 Biscuits – I thought they were meh; my wife loved them. Marriage is about compromise.
🍗 Chicken wings – These were the letdown of the night. Promised buffalo, delivered… plain confusion. Not a hint of heat or tang.
🧀 Mac & Cheese – Good on its own, but they added a salsa verde twist that felt like a culinary identity crisis. Some things just shouldn’t date.
🍸 Gin house cocktail – Purple, classy, and genuinely delicious. Felt like drinking a fancy potion in a good way.
Service? Excellent. Servers were attentive, kind, and on top of everything. No complaints there.
Atmosphere? Now here’s where things got dicey. It’s an open-concept space — half indoor, half outdoor. Sounds lovely until a fly lands in your wife’s eye while another one joins your mac & cheese like it’s invited to dinner.
Also, it was HOT. Like sticky, “is the air sweating?” hot. Even though we were technically inside, the open wall design made the whole place feel like a sunroom at high noon in July. If I wanted to sweat while eating, I’d go to a sauna with snacks.
Overall: The food had some highs (prime rib, cocktail), some lows (wings, flies), and the setting was charming in theory but needed more temperature control and less bug traffic.
Final rating: 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4 because Yelp won’t let me do halves — but let’s just say, if they close those big doors on hot days, I’d bump it to a solid 4.
Our waitress and the other staff we interacted with were very attentive and nice, so I'm not sure why we had the problems that we did when we stopped for a late lunch after COSI. The appetizer never came to the table, so they took it off the bill and said they would box it for us to take home. Which we greatly appreciate. However, even without the appetizer, our bill was $100 plus for 2 adult burger meals, 2 kids burger meals, a Diet Coke, and 3 chocolate milks. We've gotten more food for way less elsewhere that was just as good or better. And I thought it was crazy, even if it was special made (idk if it was) that the kids' chocolate milks were $15 each. Then we leave after paying - we have our to go bag thinking that our appetizer was in it AND the kids meals that weren't finished that they offered to box to go for us. Should've checked the bag contents first. While we finally did have our appetizer in hand, the kids meals leftovers that were part of our $100+ bill were not in the bag when we later opened it at home. I'm just left frustrated and disappointed. We liked the atmosphere that the place offered and the attentive interactions with staff. But the food although it was good wasn't worth the price, part of it took forever, and then when we finally got what took the whole hour plus that we were there then other food/leftovers were missing that we were expecting to take home.
Love this place, Nick was my bartender the many times I have come and he is always phenomenal. Amazing happy hour deals and although food can be pricey quality is very good. All the drinks and cocktails I have tried are minimum 10/10.

My fiancé and I had our pre-wedding dinner at Little West Tavern, located inside The Junto hotel, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The highlight of our evening was the incredible service provided by Host Michael.
Despite the restaurant being bustling with activity, Michael ensured that our large party was comfortably accommodated and kept together throughout the evening. Every request we made was met with a smile and immediate attention. His professionalism, warmth, and dedication truly made our evening memorable.
Michael went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, turning what could have been a stressful night into a seamless and joyous celebration. If you're looking for a place where you can trust that every detail will be taken care of, Little West Tavern is the spot, and Michael is the host you want to encounter.
Thank you, Michael, for your outstanding service and for making our special night even more unforgettable!

Decided to try this place during burger week. Interestingly, this wasn't brought up by either the hostess nor our server until I had asked about it prior to ordering. Website said single smash burger but waitress misinformed us and told us that it was a double smash. Server couldn't remember if we had stelzer or distilled water and continued to mix the waters together. Burger was slightly on the sweet side. Unfortunately, the fries weren't fresh and soggy when we got them and were cold. The ambiance and vibe is a 10/10, wish the service and food matched it.
