From the moment I walked in, the service was lacking. I wasn’t greeted at the door or acknowledged by any staff. I decided to sit outside on the patio and was told someone would be sent out to take my order. No one ever came. I waited patiently for quite a while as I watched other tables be served promptly.

Eventually, I went inside to place my order myself. While I was using an offline coupon and stepped away briefly to grab my own napkins and condiments, the bartender charged my card without my permission. The card was left on the counter, but I never authorized him to take it and process anything, especially since I hadn’t confirmed how I was paying yet. That was completely out of line and unprofessional.

What made this entire experience feel even more isolating was the fact that I was the only African-American person in the establishment at the time. Everyone else seemed to be receiving attentive, table-side service from waitstaff. I was overlooked from the moment I entered until the moment I left. Whether intentional or not, it felt discriminatory and unacceptable.

Local Cantina has a reputation for being a fun and welcoming place, but my experience was the exact opposite. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I sincerely hope this was just a one-off bad day for the staff, but based on what I experienced, I won’t be returning. I’m a big back and didn’t even finish my food because of the service 😢

Placed an online order ahead of time and made it to restaurant after 10ish minutes. Was initially told that they were bagging up my order. There was a gentleman, presumably a Uber Eats driver, was also waiting on their food prior to my arrival. Within a half hour timeframe, he and I both did not receive any specific update other than, ā€œSorry, they’re working on it.ā€ Typically would have no problem with that response as I’ve worked in food many times, however, how does that account for the dozens of orders taken to and fro the kitchen, others coming in, eating/drinking and cashing out whilst this gentleman and I saw patiently waiting? Cause that would make sense why we both never received our orders and causing us to walk out inevitably because we don’t have time to wait aimlessly. Great way to waste a half hour lunch break with no meal. Maybe next time give a specific update on the order instead of the run around or vague updates while wasting peoples time. Pains me to leave this because I’ve loved LC for years. Lesson learned.

I’m not a local so I was here with a large group of people in town for a softball tournament. My husband got a bowl of chips (which is a chip/salsa bar by the front door.) Unfortunately, when I got to the bottom of the bowl there was a large dead bug. Vomit! When I brought this to the waitresses attention, she made a face of disgust, took the bowl and walked off. That’s it. Never heard another word about it. I’ve never worked in the food industry, so I don’t know the protocol. But as far as customer service, pathetic! I just would have thought a manager would have come to say something. Yet, I was charged for all my food and extra gratuity for my party. Paying for my food is fine, but like I said just some type of apology from a manager would have been the least they could do.

Second time at this location and long time customer at bridge park, our food and service was way better than ever , our server Glenn took his time to explain the menu, and brought us chips and salsa WOW, this is a first time someone is so dedicated to making our experience fantastic, definitely will be back
