Local Cantina - Clintonville

I ordered carryout, and i was thoroughly impressed. Later on a friend even, promptly greeted by the friendly bar tender / staff. They were so nice and very cool atmosphere, i sat at the copper decorated bar for a second w they kindly brought my carryout. Let me tell you it was delicious. Reasonable price. And loaded. The deluxe tacos are worth the extra 50cents or w/e. So good. And huge thing of fresh made salsa and house made fresh salted chips. It was amazing. It was such a nice experience i wish id dined in. I will be back for more tacos and good vibes!

This company has gone through some sort of shift to the soulless corporate model of business. I’ve been a regular for years, and it’s unpleasant going there anymore. It began with hearing staff muttering about inanely stupid rules; it has escalated to the company clearly getting rid of any of the people who have loyally worked there for years for insanely arbitrary reasons. The new crew is unintuitive (if you even recognize someone on any given day), and the service now sucks. Not to mention, I’ve seen the new management for weeks. The new GM spends most of her time talking to her boyfriend or gossiping. She’s never said hello to me, nor have I seen her speak to other customers or help her employees much. Why is this company firing loyal staff and alienating a loyal clientele? I even tried emailing and heard no response, naturally. The food will go downhill, shortly, as the new corporate busybodies find ways to cut corners. At this point, I’d rather go to Applebees. I refuse to return.

Always a good experience. Sometimes service is a bit slow but I often go at unusual times when staff is low so I really can't complain. Food is always good and the people are always pleasant.

The food and drinks are good, but we go there because of Meg, an experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly server that we enjoy spending time with!

Popped in with my sister for a quick bite and decided to sit at the bar. The bartender, Izzy was phenomenal! Very attentive and friendly. Haven’t been to Local Cantina in a long time and definitely will be back soon.

I enjoy Local Cantina so much, the best place for some drinks and tacos, my fav is Carnitas cuz it comes with pineapple haha
Pitcher margarita is great if you like it and if there is a group of ppl. Enjoy it!!

Get your own chips and salsa, and fill up as many times as you want. The taco options are numerous, but I always get the chicken tinga weezy style. Mustache Ride Margarita is 5.00 during happy hour, and they make the mix themselves. Cute atmosphere, but with all the openness and metal, the music was a little loud. Please bring back the deep fried avacados.

We had a great time. Food was good. Beverages were great and service was outstanding. Great atmosphere. Will be back.

The bartenders are wonderful every time and the special taco of the week is always fire!
