I was a little late in placing a catering order on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. I sent an email to Jessica Perri, the catering manager, who contacted me about 45 minutes later. She was at home eating dinner but told me she would go to the shop to full fill my order. Within an hour Jessica had my order prepared and ready for me to pick up…. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable!! If you have never tried LOOPS and you are a fan of Chicago main stay foods you certainly are missing out! THE FOOD IS ALWAYS FRESH and the SERVICE AWESOME!! THANK YOU Jessica and the entire team for being there for us!!!

I want to begin by saying that I absolutely love your food and have for many years. I haven’t been to your restaurant in about six years, but I stopped in today at approximately 7:28 PM. The gentleman who took my order was outstanding, and I truly appreciate his great customer service.
After my order was ready, I checked my bag and noticed two extra desserts that were not part of my order. I let the young woman at the counter know, and she removed them. I also noticed that one of my fry bags didn’t appear to have much seasoning, which is something I’ve always looked forward to at your restaurant, so I politely asked for a little more. She did provide it, but her tone and body language came across as frustrated. When I told her “thank you, have a good night,” she did not acknowledge me, even after I repeated myself. With her back turned, she responded only with “sure.”
I want to share why this interaction impacted me. My husband is currently undergoing cancer treatment at The James, and today has been extremely emotional and difficult. He was supposed to have surgery today but is surgery was postponed until Monday, and he had not eaten all day. I left his side to come to your restaurant specifically because I remembered how much joy your food brought me in the past and wanted to bring him something that would make him smile.
Because of that, the lack of courtesy from the staff member was disappointing. A simple acknowledgment or kindness would have made a big difference, especially on such a difficult day. I’m sharing this not to complain about your restaurant—which I truly love—but in hopes that it helps improve the experience for future guests.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you again for the wonderful food and the excellent service from the gentleman who took my order. He LOVED the food. His first time eating it!

Tried this spot for lunch and was really impressed. The Chicago-style hotdog, also known as the Loops dog, was incredible — loaded with all the right toppings and that classic Vienna beef flavor that makes it feel truly authentic.
I also ordered the Italian beef sandwich with hot giardiniera. It was decent overall, though the real star of the meal was definitely the fries. They were perfectly golden, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and honestly some of the best fries I’ve ever had. The restaurant says they have the best fries in Columbus, and I have to agree.
Service was quick, prices were fair, and the whole experience felt easy and enjoyable. This is a great place to stop by for a satisfying lunch — especially if you’re a fry lover!

Fantastic! I got the Italian Beef sandwich and it was very good, especially when I dipped it into the au jus, and the fries were hot and well seasoned. It was a wonderful experience I highly recommend.

Staff was nice fries were ok the chicken gyro definitely canned chicken with zero flavor except water flavor there was little to no seasoning to cover it up the gyro was also mainly lettuce and sauce with like 5 big chunks of water canned chicken other places you can tell the chicken is grilled and seasoned for the price the quality definitely was not there if I go back definitely would not get anything with chicken

So I usually love loops but I visited today and had the smallest gyro ever known to mankind three bites into my sandwich was the bread and tiziki sauce was all I had they usually give you a nice size portion but I'm not sure what is happening here

Food is absolutely delicious. You can taste the flavors in every dish. The fiery fries are amazing along with the gyro and Italian beef. Had au jous on the side for Italian beef but the sandwich did not even need any other flavor. Everything here is absolutely delicious.
