I try to give people a chance but first impression is always the wrong impression. They didn't have the potato the turkey leg was bland the sides was ok but I probably won't go back 40 bucks for some unseasoned food ? is crazy work????

I just got this for lunch downtown through the Fooda app. Pulled smoked turkey, macaroni and cheese, dirty rice and a large cupcake. This food is very good! And the people working were nice.
You have to know that a smoked turkey leg will run a bit on the salty side. The flavor of the food isn’t just salt though.

I wanted to love this place..but did not. The situation is a bit sketchy. You ring a doorbell by some garbage cans in a parking lot and then wait till they bring out your food. No way to tell what the kitchen looks like. I got the Smoked Turkey Bowl with baked beans and potato salad. The baked beans had an overwhelming amount of cinnamon and the few pieces of turkey I got was swimming in it. I also got a Turkey Rib, which was way too small for the price. Ended up throwing most of it out. Maybe I should have stuck to a leg instead of the bowl. The sizes of the side dishes were decent. However, I was very underwhelmed.

Visited for the first time Sunday & let me tell you this place is soo good!!! We got a kids meal (turkey came automatically as the protein, red beans & rice, and yams) it was great my son didn’t finish it but I did LOL & 2 Sunday dinners and I mean EVERYTHING was GREAT! Turkey FELL off the bone and was seasoned well, macaroni was GOOOOD, greens were tasty, and the dressing was delicious! It was so much food we still had enough for dinner the next day! Definitely would recommend & we will definitely be back soon!
Hands down some of thee best soul food in the city. It is cooked with love ❤️ Taste like home for me. 10/10
