We love Lupo but had such an odd experience Saturday night. We were sat at a 2-top table literally on top of another 2-top table. It was as if we were on a double date with the couple next to us. My husband and I couldn't even talk without feeling awkward. Thankfully the woman next to us ended up asking to sit elsewhere halfway through. I understand wanting to get as many customers into the restaurant but it shouldn't be at the expense of us customers not being able to enjoy our meals/night.
Really quaint. Went there as a family for my son's 23rd birthday and it did not disappoint. Excellent cocktails, wine, and food. We absolutely loved it!
We came in to celebrate my husband's birthday and everything from start to finish was amazing. Our server was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The food and drinks were fantastic. We were very impressed and will definitely be back.
Last night we went to Lupo for the second week in a row. Our meal last week was so good that we wanted to introduce our friends to the restaurant. Two weeks in a row we were extremely happy with the food, the service, and the value. The menu is eclectic and delicious.
We went here for a birthday and it was perfect. Everything we ordered was delicious and our server was awesome!
This was an incredible restaurant! The tapas style menu is perfect for ordering several things to share. Flavors were incredible and we will surely be back to try the things we didn't have room for! Our service was excellent as well. Definitely recommend!
Jackson was our server and did an excellent job. My only suggestion would be that for the price of the cocktails, a more generous pour; or a more generous happy hour discount.
I took a friend to Lupe for her birthday because my husband and I have been there 3-4 times and loved it. The food has always been great but they lost their previous chef and then there fairly new chef injured her arm so wasn't working that night. My friend got the curry with shrimp but it arrived w/o shrimp. We didn't know that right away but then told the waitress. She soon brought some large shrimp which were not cooked through. My friends meal was not warm by the time the shrimp arrived and she didn't want them undercooked. The manager took that meal off our bill which was a good thing. I had the salmon and that was fine but it was on a bed of glass noodles which were too salty and not much bok choy. The whole dinner was pretty disappointing but an assistant chef had to pitch in at the last minute. I will go again but check the menu and ask if their regular chef if there. We did get a chocolate gluten-free cake served on a blood orange coulee which was very good and that was on the house for our birthday celebration.
Wonderful Food, wine and service. I continue to be impressed by the changing menu and excellent Thursday night value
First time at Lupo. All four of us thought our entrees were excellent, and we will return. Service was attentive and timely. Some very good cocktails.

First time at Lupo's and will be back! Not a huge menu but we all enjoyed what we had. Thought outside (where we sat and under heat lamps, which was nice) provided a touch more ambiance than inside, but that said, would absolutely try dining inside. Love trying out ‘new' places (for us) like this and as mentioned above, will be back!
The restaurant was much louder than we could tolerate. Conversation was difficult. The miso salmon was far too salty. Overall, prices were higher than I would have expected. Our service, however, was excellent.
We usually love Lupo's but our service last night was just awful. We waited a good 15 minutes before our server showed up to our table, another 15 or mare for our drinks and later over 20 minutes for a glass of wine and a beer. Although our food was good the slow service and the ambivalence of our server made out night less than enjoyable.
Our group of 8 was seated in the old bank vault, where we enjoyed an intimate evening together. The food was spot on, and the service was attentive. Our group overwhelmingly loved the birria tacos, burrata, and halibut dishes. Would definitely recommend for an upscale yet casual evening.
Order one of everything. The food is original and amazing and never fails to disappoint. If they have grilled octopus on the menu, order it.
