Machete Taqueria - Food Truck

Love this spot. Wish I could go everyday!! I always get the chicken burito. Its always good and always has fresh ingredients. The lady who runs it is very sweet as well.

This is by far my favorite taco truck! The meat is seasoned beautifully, the red hot sauce is HOT, and delicious, and the Loaded Nacho Ice cream... 👀 Let me just say, I eat that before my tacos EVERY time because I'm ALWAYS making room for it! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience every time!!

Not good, not bad, just mediocre. The cooks and server were great and friendly. Ordered the Birria Burrito for $12. I didn't really taste the Birria flavors I normally do, there was no punch from any of the ingredients. The consommé tasted really watery, didn't sense any of the broth or chili flavors. The barbacoa was very chewy and a bit dry. The Verde sauce was the best part I'll admit. I'll have to give it another shot because other reviews indicate there's potential.

Hands down the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. Whenever we’re in town we go out of our way to go there! Churros were out of this world! Everything is so good.

It was so cold and about time for them to be closing up shop at my apartment complex. But the woman who took my order was so nice and accommodating. They had my order up and ready super quick. And once I got home to eat it, everything was delicious! 5 stars, will definitely be eating here again.

Just yes. I do the quesadilla personally. Just mhmm. The street tacos are on point as well. You order, you wait 10-15 mins while they cook it, simple process.

American cheese on a torta.... Not authentic and disappointing.

Always tasty tacos, though some visits are a tad
bit better than others. I’ve probably been here around 12-15 times, and I’m always served with a smile. My go-to taco truck order is authentic style steak tacos with cilantro, onions, crispy tortillas, both red and green salsas, and a side of sour cream. At Machete, I appreciate that the steak isn’t tough or rubbery, and the pieces aren’t chopped into tiny bits, making for a better bite each time. If you order tacos of any style, I suggest asking for a crispy tortilla so the juices don’t soften it as easily. They have a few seating options here: two picnic tables and three high-top seats against the truck if you want to eat there. Like I said, some visits can be just a little better than others, but I keep coming back to this food truck because, in my experience, it’s never disappointed me.
