I have given this place several chances always bad service, tonight took the cake! I realize it's closing but please don't take it out on your customers. Took over 20 minutes to get a drink, and was never asked if I would like another. I had planned to tip a lot extra because I felt bad, but after the service I just couldn't tip extra.

Service was fine. Food was generic tasting and nothing special. At that price point I would have expected them to try a little harder on the entrees. Also the dining room was 81 degrees, not sure why when it was 45 degrees outside. Given that there are several other similar restaurants in the Polaris area I wouldn't go back.

We love the atmosphere at this venue. I believe we went on an "off" day for the establishment, though, so I want to say that first. The server said one of her servers quit, and all the patrons showed up at once, inundating her. So I won't comment on the service. We were disappointed in the chili, however, because it came out on the cool side and had a bit more vinegar in it than we would like. The fries were nice, and the meat on the Reuben sandwich was crispy. I just think it was an off day for everyone there. It was very cold outside.

Except for a jerk in the parking lot, was a very nice experience. Service was excellent, good food, clean place, decent atmosphere.

Went to Mackenzie River Grill today for lunch with friends. We all ordered the spinach salad with chicken. The menu showed the protein add on for the small salad was $3 so I was surprised when our server told us that the menu was incorrect and that the charge would be $6 if we wanted the chicken warm or $3 if it was cold. Very surprised they charge based on the food temperature! When the bill came out, I was actually charged $7! I discussed with the manager and my bill was adjusted based on the menu pricing but thought I should make others aware of this. We were there a few weeks prior and did not have the same issue so it may be new for 2024 but they should consider updating their menu to reflect increases. We have decided we will not be going back in the near future.

Food was really good, Brittany was great and made sure our drinks were good and we were taken care of. Would highly recommend asking for Brittany.

This place has great appetizers. We got the black and Bleu steak bites. They were great. Very tender steak. Loved the gas fire features on the outside patio. Definitely adds to the atmosphere of the restaurant. When we arrived it was between lunch and dinner so it wasn't very busy and we got seated immediately. The server was great and took really good care of us. Staff was very friendly and attentive to all the guest as well. Nice place. Will be back.

We walked in at 1130ish for lunch and it was a ghost town. There was on table seated, no employees in site. We stood there for at least 5 minutes before being greeted and sat. We ordered the Buffalo wings to start, which were more breading than chicken. I ordered the spinach salad and added the cold fajita chicken per the waitresses suggestion. My companion ordered the cobb salad, swapping out the grilled chicken for the fajita chicken. The fajita chicken flavors did not pair well with the dressing on the spinach salad, and there wasn't much chicken for the upcharge. The grilled chicken, which the waitress noted was hot as it was freshly grilled, was just as cold as the fajita chicken. The food was just meh.

Updated review. The food was fine, the service was severely lacking. I went with 2 friends from work. 1 met me just after I arrived, the other joined shortly thereafter. Our last friend had been there for about 20 minutes when we were cut off. We were drinking domestic beer, Miller and Bud, nothing too rough. After we were cut off, we drove directly across the street to Twin Peaks. Colder beer and the obvious difference in staffing. We were treated respectfully and had no problem ordering a beer. Next time I will go straight to Twin Peaks or Kitchen social and avoid MacKenzir River.
