The location we made reservations at thru Open Table was closed. We got to the restaurant dressed up and ready to go out to dinner, believing we had reservations only to find it closed up with a note on the door. At this point was too late on a Saturday night to get in anywhere else and still make it to our movie on time. If they're going to close one if their restaurants, take that location off Open Table! No excuse for this. Very disappointed.

They ID'd me on my 21st birthday and when I only had my temporary (paper) ID they turned me down.. thanks for ruining my 21st birthday. It was half a decade ago and I'll never forget it

Very nice menu with lots of choices. Matt the Miller's has a large selection of whiskeys, scotch and bourbon. I had the salmon, it was very good. My husband had the pork tenderloin. Our waitress was efficient and very friend. We will return!

My family of five drove about an hour to have Sunday brunch at Matt the Millers. We had made reservations via OpenTable and confirmed via phone a couple of days ahead. When we arrived at the restaurant at noon on Superbowl Sunday, the parking lot was empty and the doors were locked. There was not even a closed sign on the door. Later that day, in a very small print at the bottom of the webpage, there was a sentence saying that the restaurant had closed for maintenance. We were very disappointed to have wasted our time and our money traveling from nearly an hour away to visit Matt the Millers.

I really like this place, and normally I would rate this fish and chips way higher. But this particular plate of food was terribly disappointing. I had looked forward to coming here since moving away, and was sad to get breaded fish that I would best describe as gloppy. It was too thick and either underdone or too much oil saturated it as it waited to be brought out. And the fish didn’t flake the way I expected. The whole meal I regretted not getting the shrimp and grits - my other favorite meal here.

The food was good; however, the service was slow, even for the Sunday brunch buffet. It was incredibly over-priced. The buffet tables were so high that a normal height person could barely see into the chafing dishes-- very odd.

Table of 4- 2 ordered same burger- different buns- one rock hard with seeds the other was soggy no seeds. Asked no tomato- got tomatoes on both. One was missing the lettuce and bacon. Got walleye- nothing special. Fries were really good. Server overall did ok- but another server dropped food off (and got the missing lettuce and bacon) and our server didn't come back around til almost finished. So it was meh

Pretty solid 3.5 to four stars. Id eat there again. It’s a chain so you are only get to get so high of quality but its good to check out occasionally.

We were there for restaurant week. Our group had salads (very good) loaded potato soup (also very good). My wife and I had the shrimp and grits. Not as good as Charleston but very nice and large portions. My wife could not eat it all. The other two entrees were the sirloin which was reported to be “pretty good for a sirloin” and the pork tenderloin which was also highly rated. My buddy and I had the blackberry peanut butter whiskey old fashioned which sounds weird but I would get it again. It was very delicious.Crystal our server did a great job but I knocked the service down a little because the kitchen was slow. Everyone has staff problems.

Left a $15 tip , a day later I checked on my credit card statement and they over charged me an extra $100 to make a $115 tip. Really fishy , I know what I signed for . Really mad . They refunded the $100 , but I surely expected a full meal refund as an apology, just bad business . Oh well , glad I checked . Can’t say I’ll be back . Make sure to always check your card statements !!!!!

The food was cold. I got the fish and chips the breading was soggy. The appetizer was disappointing. They were cold potato chips with a bunch of toppings.

Breakfast buffet was the worst breakfast I have had in years. Hotel breakfast buffets have more flavor. Employees and ambiance was great. Food was horrible and cold.

We have been to the buffet several times, but this was not our favorite. The food was not refreshed. (We never had access to cinnamon rolls-only one left, fried chicken-looked dried out and only about 6 pieces left, scalloped potatoes-none at all and waffles-soggy and looked prepared hours earlier) and we were at our table for about 45 minutes waiting for new food to come out. (started brunch at noon). There was no regular creamer for the coffee and we asked several times. Omelets were "made to order" but took about 30 minutes and came out of the kitchen cold with unmelted cheese. They were not good. Huge disappointment, and very expensive for the type of food.

I think it seems like a glorified Applebees or something. The food is just meh. Nothing to write home about. I would not go on my own and if my friends asked me to meet them I would try to get them to change locations. But if they wouldn't change I would be able to find something to eat and deal with it.
