I have been here a few times and will say I have received a mixed bag in terms of service and quality.
Some of the downsides have been;
- being charged for syrup when I didn’t order it and when I clarified they didn’t adjust the price
- finding out their alternative milks except oat all have honey so they aren’t vegan which is unexpected so it is something I think should be posted so people know. The oat is the one that isn’t made in house but they do use minor figures which I personally think has a bad taste and is my least favorite of all oat milk brands so that is unfortunate for me
- having my stamp card ‘lost’ which is annoying when you are finally close to a free drink
- there is one cashier who has always been short and more on the rude side and last time when tried to give her my punch card she just has walked away which was very confusing since I said I was grabbing it and she didn’t even acknowledge me standing there after
- parking is super difficult
The positives;
- with the hotel there is a lot of seating available
- most of the staff is super friendly
- no up charge on alternative milks
- they open early and close late which is helpful
Overall have two stars because my experiences recently haven’t been great but hoping that this review helps create some change especially with the labeling of the alternative milks although the most ideal would be they change their recipe to change the honey to maple syrup or dates or some other sweetener so they are vegan.
Really solid drinks and great space to hang out - it's connected to the Junto lobby, which has really comfy furniture, some tables with outlets and lamps for studying, and a beautiful courtyard. I also really like Maudine's unique branding!
Had a coffee meeting here a few weeks ago. Absolutely loved it there & the service was fantastic!

I really enjoy their coffee and appreciate real cupwear. the seasonal menus are always super good
Coffee is fine. Space is nice, which you’ll really come to appreciate as you wait 20 minutes for a latte. The level is disorganization behind the counter is also something to behold.
it’s worth saying that it’s been a while since I was planning to go to Mandine’s. To my disappointment I asked for a drip coffee and my husband a cappuccino. In less than a minute I got my coffee, but my husbands cappuccino took more than 15 minutes to be prepared. I’ve finished mine even though I was waiting for his - but it was getting cold so had to drink it without him the only breakfast in the weekend we have together. Anyway. Not coming anymore for a while. Was way too traumatized with that long for a coffee - I wouldn’t mind if we both were waiting and got our cups together. But not having that into consideration when you are ordering for two is something that will keep me from coming again. Not to mention when I asked if they had the cappuccino in line, they responded like I was asking for a favor even though I was super polite and not wanting to stand in the way of them doing they things.

This place is huge, beautiful and perfect for working/ hanging out and just being. My coffee was okay-ish, not the best in town and there wasn’t many baked options. But overall, I really liked the place.

I drink a lot of coffee and this was excellent. Located on the first floor of the Junto, excellent vibes give it a sip.

Light-hearted with a rustic smooth jazz or lofi vibe that you won't hear but can see and feel. Everything here feels fresh, organic, and provides invitational charm. People feel free for conversation even open to meeting mew friends, but things are calm and not too loud. Wherever you sit, you can still hear the relaxed background music giving assurance that all is well and welcome. The area is painted naturally and intentionally with browns of dark black coffee browns and lighter creamy lattes with intimate forrest hues related to between the bark colors of maple, oak give the feeling that it's evening even with the windows ride open where the sun has yet to peak.
The personality is very Type A disguised as a Type B ambivert where everything has place, but at the same time, anything could be placed everywhere, generally disorganized but far from being cluttered. There's intentionality, but not so much that it's sharp style quieting laughter but has a little bit of goofiness and guile. This is obviously a place to have fun, and when the mood strikes, be productive, but in that order.
The most prominent feeling is peace, with gaps colored in by playfulness and a sense of purposefulness. One feels belonging and security like being at home. There is the mutual tug that in one way you brlong here but in alternatively the nook you cosy in or chair you settle into or area you temporarily squat belongs to you for those precious moments. It makes it richly comfortable to stay and a poor sight looking from the outside in because it is difficult to leave.

Coffee is severely bitter. They only have cold brew (no iced coffee) so if you are sensitive to caffeine, decaf is the way to go. Better off walking the less than quarter mile walk to One Line Coffee which is also in the neighborhood and considerably better
I will say that parking is difficult here, but outside of that the vibes are immaculate. I got a regal rum iced latte and a sweetened peach tea. Both were amazing! There is SO MUCH room too. Lots of comfortable seating. I hate that a lot of coffee shops have hard seating when many people are there to work for a while. So the fact that this place has cushy seating out the wazoo was great! A lot of natural light, and the staff were so nice!
Parking: Limited parking locations in a busy area.
