The wings are amazing! They’re crispy and crunchy but also so saucy! They’re the best wings in Columbus. We got BBQ, garlic Parmesan, and Blazin Asian.
Went to Mean Mug Wings & Things for the first time a while back - it lived up to the hype! TL;DR - best wings in Columbus I've had. Dive Atmosphere was great and food was delicious!
Sampled Mistress Pain - hell no! I am not the type who likes heat on my wings but even my wife who loves spicy food was out on it.

Mean Mug Wings & Things is a hidden gem located inside a Veterans hall, giving it a laid back, small town vibe. The space is a standard veterans hall, with a bar, tables, and pool tables. Access can be tricky, with locked doors and buzzers, and it is surrounded by rundown strip malls with bumpy parking.
The stars are the wings for sure. They are really really good and big wings, described as phenomenal, amazing, perfectly cooked, big, meaty, juicy, and unbelievably crispy. The homemade sauce selection is fantastic, with dozens of incredible sauces made in house. Sauces include a creamy wasabi sauce that was tops and an Alabama white sauce that is smooth and creamy with a little heat. They also have some very hot sauces. The hand breaded onion rings are phenomenal. On Wednesdays, which is dollar wing day, they may not have onion rings, but the pretzel bites are the best ever—hot and crispy outside, tender inside, served with honey mustard or ranch.
The service is top notch, excellent, friendly, and helpful. The owners are the nicest people, wonderful, super friendly folks. It is a must try. Customers recommend checking their Facebook page to confirm hours, allowing yourself some time, and coming on Wednesday to get as many wings as you can eat.
