I ordered the Pho King and it was super delicious!!! The broth was flavorful and seasoned, the beef was tender, and the vegetables and noodles were cooked perfectly. All the flavors came together to make a superb bowl of comfort. A shout out to the server, CHUCK, who answered my questions and provided thoughtful recommendations. I'm bringing family and friends next time!!!
friendly staff, and amazing food! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Amazing food !! amazing service !! will definitely be back !!!
By far the worst pho I’ve had (not surprised since it wasn’t from an authentic Asian restaurant). The brisket was nothing but chunks of fat. Quite literally no meat at all. The cilantro/bean sprouts were stale and the soup wasn’t that hot (temperature wise). The pho was also more expensive than any authentic Asian restaurant I’ve been to and this place has disgusting pho. I also thought I was gonna get a fountain drink when I asked for a sprite, but they came out with a glass bottle of sprite and it cost $4, which is more than a fountain drink would’ve cost and I would’ve gotten refills with a fountain drink. Definitely won’t be going back to this place.

Everything was great! The Pho is amazing! Small
plates and appetizers are just ok. Stick to the noodles cannot go wrong.

Mecha is a vibe! The food, atmosphere and service are all top notch. We love trying new places and we’re so happy. Columbus needs more places like this that pay attention to details and deliver quality.

Worst ramen and pho that I’ve ever had….
Don’t try the ramen!!!!
The decoration is nice but the main food is really salty and I can't stand it. The taste is not good. I ordered a bowl of pho for 16.5 points, which only had clear soup and 5 slices of beef. The price is ridiculous. This is the first and last time we come here.

I wanted ramen during my lunch break and pay for it in cash. However, they refused to take my order over the phone.
Because I had to walk to the restaurant to place my order and wait for them to make it, I didn't have enough time on my lunch break to actually enjoy the meal.

I know they hate to see me coming. I’m obsessed with the Paitan Ramen.

We had an amazing meal at Mecha this past weekend. Since we live out in the burbs, Short North doesn't always fit into our schedule, but we will definitely be back. Every dish and drink was an experience in itself. My daughter and I are on a quest to eat at every ramen shop in the city, and this might be our new fave. Be sure to do yourself a favor and get the Curry Poutine.

Mecha Noodle Bar is at corner 2nd and High where a White Castle used to be. Quite a modern space now. Restaurant itself is very beautiful. They opened their glass walls to let in fresh fall weather. They have a bar and plenty of table seating…outdoors if you please. Chef/owner/founder Tony Pham was there to welcome us. Go to their website to read about Mecha and the folks here. They are very much into their food, but they also support social causes to help and return back to the community.
We ordered several cocktails, appetizers and entrees. See my pictures for additional info on the dishes.
Great work from mixologist Kim-Anh for preparing and chatting to us about the cocktails. I highly recommend the In My No Drinking Era (citrusy) as well as the Midnight in Saigon (espresso martini).
As far as food, my top recommendation will be the spare ribs followed by the Pho. Seriously, all the food we had were great. But what was REALLY great was the conversation with Chef Tony if you are lucky enough when he is there. There is something meaningful when the food you eat has some history to it.
Overall, it was a perfect lunchtime visit at Mecha. Checkout my recommended dishes/pics and chat with the folks there. They are more than happy to share not just their food, but their stories.

Absolutely incredible experience. We had Quill as our server who knew every detail about each item which was super helpful. Great atmosphere, food was outstanding and plating was beautiful. Had the pleasure of another server, Paige, giving us some recommendations and great conversation and knowledge of the company itself. Also had the best cocktails we’ve ever had! All around great choice. For cocktails we had, the Sifu Lee, OG smash, one way ticket, island in the sun. Food we had, pork belly and shiitake baos, red oil dumplings x2, poutine, unagi, spicy tuna. Can’t wait to come back and try the ramen and pho! These employees need a raise!!
