It's a shame how much this place has declined over the last year. The quality of food and the lack of staffing are huge issues at the moment. We waited over an hour, when the dining room was half full and when we did receive the food, it was cold and just overall poor quality. From what we've heard, upper management is the issue and causing all these issues. Won't be back until things change significantly.

Waitress, I think her name was Lena, took the spare change before I could tip her. So I just didn't tip. Thanks for stealing my money

I used to love this place. Well the location that used to be on high Street anyways. Sadly, my last few experiences at Melt have left me disappointed. Overall food quality has declined IMHO. The flavor was not great and the vegetables on the sandwich didn't seem to be cooked enough. They were basically raw when they should've been grilled And I guess shrinkflatation is affecting them also because I don't feel like the portion sizes are nearly what they used to be. Attaching a photo of the sandwich I received as exhibit A supporting my complaints

Vegan reviewer here! I ordered a meal from Uber Eats from this restaurant and thought my vegan Eggs and bacon sandwich was amazing and decided to place my second order of the week in person. They have a bunch of menu items that you can order vegan and vegetarian which was really exciting to see. I got there at dinner time on a Wednesday and the place was big and had eclectic decor. I was greeted immediately by the man at the front and asked to place a takeout order. I loved the sandwich I got the first time so much I wanted it again and to try a few other items. I ordered a half vegan eggs and bacon sandwich with fries, half a vegan Lake Erie Monster with slaw, vegan tomato soup, two sides of vegan ranch and a 20 oz bottled Pepsi. They were out of bottled Pepsi so I opted for a Dr. Pepper from the fountain. I waited about 20 minutes and the guy who took my order let me know they were out of vegan egg so I opted for vegan grilled chicken and lettuce instead and they had no more vegan tomato soup so I asked them to take it off. They come out with my order a bit later and their soda fountain wasn't working so they gave me a free bottle root beer and comped my entire meal. When I get home the half vegan eggs and bacon sandwich was full sized which I'm not mad about, but there's no vegan ranches and my vegan Lake Erie Monster sandwich is missing the tartar sauce and jalapeño. I also hate root beer but appreciate the gesture of the full sized sandwich and them taking care of the bill. I'm just disappointed that my order was still messed up and missing items even after having to modify half my order. The staff was friendly but overall my experience was sloppy. I think if my sandwiches were made correctly it would have tasted great but they weren't. The vegan coleslaw was really basic and the fries were soggy. I really want to like this place especially because my first order was so delicious but for not being busy and all of this happening is making me think twice.

After traveling all day and starving, decided to try this place. Took our orders ( they weren't busy at all) they come back to say they aren't cooking any more dine in orders. What?! They already took our order and we'd been waiting. We were the only table without food. We asked them if they could just make it to go then. After another 30 minutes we were about to leave and our appetizer finally shows up. It was cold and not good. We said forget it and left hungry to go eat somewhere else. Just wasted an hour for nothing. Felt like nobody had worked in a restaurant before or had a clue. Absolutely appalling.

It the melt I remember. Always thought it was pretty good food and fun place to go. It’s been awhile since I’ve been and today went to the Easton location in Columbus. Cold, tasteless food and 3/4 of the beer list was “unavailable “ and entire page of the menu was just scribbled out with a pen and we were told by the server that it’s just ridiculously old and outdated. Service was slow and we had to send the fries back because they were cold. The cheese on one of our sandwiches wasn’t even melted. I know the chain is having problems and they’ve closed a bunch of locations, it’s not hard to see why…can’t say I’ll come back…disappointed.

How is all the food cold at a place called the melt? The cheese wasn't even melted.Fries looked like scraps from the bottom of of the fryer basket.Mens bathroom is in awful condition. Urinal bagged over and the stall isn't secured to the wall.Absolutely Disappointed in this location.

We sat for 15 minutes before a waiter came to take drink/ water orders. After an hour, we flagged him down to get an estimate for when our food be ready. They were still unsure at that point. Left hungry after wasting an hour waiting.

It was our first time ever coming.First we had the bbq nachos with chicken. There was like 5 little pieces of grilled chicken. Cold BBQ sauce. I didn't know melted cheese was supposed to be cold as well.I got their bbq pork grilled cheese. You'd think a place would stick to their name and have melted cheese on a grilled cheese. Nope. I never had a cold grilled cheese before. That was interesting.Chili cheese fries, fries cold. Chili was ice cold.A fresh "hot" meal, ice cold.I don't think I will be back. But thank you for solving my curiosity on this restaurant. It's a no for me.Also note, it wasn't very busy.

The food was ice cold server was missing in action. The atmosphere was awesome. The only thing that was good is the macaroni and cheese fried bites. The onion soup literally was congealed never again

Wish I would have read the reviews before deciding to go. It used to be a great place but something must have changed the last few years. We sat at the bar near expo and it was painfully obvious how mismanaged the place is now. Servers were standing around not knowing what to do. Food was just sitting in the window and no one knew who it was for. The cooks didn't seem to have any direction. On top of that they only had about 4 beers on tap and they were warm. They used to have a ton on options on tap. The menu prices also seemed outrageous. We saw some of the food that was coming out of the window and decided it wasn't worth the money and left.

I came in with a very large party, and Noah was our server. Hands down the best server I think I’ve ever had in any restaurant, he was absolutely wonderful. Noah was patient, kind, friendly towards everyone and genuinely seems to love his job. Noah did a fantastic job and I couldn’t be happier with the service that I received.

We showed up to Melt on a Saturday afternoon with a decent sized group and waited a slight bit to get seated, not bad though. Our waitress did a good job taking care of us. Nice craft beer selection there and food selection is awesome. I got the full Lake Erie monster grilled cheese and it was awesome. Probably could've been fine with a half for lunch tho. Great spot, can't wait to go back!

We were pretty pumped to go here, and the atmosphere did not disappoint. Honestly, at first look, this place is 10/10. I don't know if we came at a busy time (1130 on a Sunday), but the service left a lot to be desired. A couple of our grilled cheeses were missing ingredients, but we didn't see our waiter again for a long enough time period that we decided to eat it as was. Our table also went without drinks or acknowledgment for 30 mins. The food was decent, and the menu was broad.
