On my visit, the promptness was such that my pizza slices arrived without a pass through the oven for reheating as every other pizzeria does, suggesting a laziness or slight due to the situation involving the change.The pizza itself boasts a distinct taste, possibly thanks to a sweet, caramelized element, that I suspect might be a hit among locals. While the culinary experience had its high points, the service interaction was mixed. The bartender, while efficiently directing seating options, was terse when clarifying the policy on ordering drinks versus food; a humorous, albeit short-lived joy.The atmosphere at Mikey’s was further enhanced by the visually striking album cover art adorning the walls, each piece contributing to the restaurant’s vibrant and nostalgic aura. Complementing the visual feast was the fantastic selection of music. The tunes, hailing predominantly from the 80s and 90s, created an auditory backdrop that was both energizing and delightfully reminiscent of those iconic decades. This combination of auditory and visual elements helped to craft a unique and appealing dining experience, but no place can be perfect.The point of contention was the pricing and billing process. A slice priced at $5.65 plus a service charge. Presumably the SVC refers to a service charge which was 3%. Apparently, it is an easy way for the business to increase prices without having to change all the menu and signage prices, because over 5 bucks for an average size slice isn't quite enough. Lol Moreover, the experience was soured by the cashier's attempt to withhold my rightful change — an act that can only be described as an attempt to steal. A small discrepancy might seem trivial, but it reflects poorly on business practices and customer respect. An immediate and honest communication about the inability to provide exact change would have been the proper approach, ensuring the customer is not left feeling cheated.The visit to Mikey's was a patchwork of authentic ambiance, unique pizza flavors, and service mishaps. With attention to transparency and customer respect, particularly in billing practices, Mikey's could refine its service to match the appeal of its setting and culinary offerings.

Really good pizza, I got a pepperoni & extra cheese. Did not disappoint. ???? 4/5 for the pizza. Good taste, cheese to sauce ratio is on point. Soft crust though, I’m a well done crust kinda guy so, but overall great place.

Loved it! Wanted to take this placeback home to Missoui with me. Pizza was excellent and well priced. Funky joint with good vibe. Friendly staff. Pizza delicious. Spicy pepperoni and the garlic pie.
First time visiting this location, super cool vibes and even though there was a line for pizza, got through it quick and pizza was fire as always! Bartenders are great and super friendly!
