I have eaten at Korean restaurants all over the UD and in Korea and this restaurant, in my experience, is very authentic. What is lacks in atmosphere, it more than makes up for with its food.

For it being Columbus, OH, best korean restaurant. I live in Cincinnati, OH. There is literally no Authentic korean restaurant besides korean bbq. So searching for Authentic korean dishes is very hard. To be honest its my 3rd or 4th time going there 😅😅 Food is delicious. Their kimbap delicious, their steamed mandu is also good. We got korean blood sausage is so good. I love love their banchan!! They offer alot of different variety of banchan. Lastly their korean stew. Omg hot, flavorful and delicious. We have had their kimchi jigae, fish roe jigue, their seafood soon tofu, squid kui their dishes are amazing. Staff is also very attentive and we are always greeted. Also you know its good korean restaurant when you go their and you see korean customers there aunty's grandmas etc. Also, this time I went 3 ppl, we share a kimbap, steamed egg, squid kui and a kimchi jigae which come up to $78 so roughly about $25 a person. Their stews can be shared its alot. We always have left overs. Their lunch prices are nice e too. Ive seen some reviews in regards to their tricky tactic and let me say the 4 times I been there , have never been an issue or their tricks on tipping. Matter fact the waiter remember us. And mind you we always show love on tipping. So I guess make sure you guys check your receipts. But as fair as my experiences for the 4 times I been there they been wonderful and consistent each time. Will definitely travel 1hr 40mins again.

Food was amazing but beware of their tricks. I had the LA Kalbi which was bone in meat and got charged for the boneless instead ($3 extra). While I should've checked to make sure they charged me the right amount, it was undeniably intentional. I sensed a weird feeling coming from the older woman and I was correct. Everyone else is very nice and provides good service.
Again, food is great but be weary of their tricks.

Great food. I’ve been coming here for a long time and they are super nice and the foods are really good but when I went recently, the service was really bad. We had to ask multiple times for water fill that we got once in our hr stay, we were left alone after food so anything we needed, we had to go and wait at the registry to ask for, and the tips are important to them but they have force system now. The bill comes with tips ALREADY taken. They took 25% tips on our $70 food giving us no option to tip accordingly, and I usually tip cash which I had no choice of having to choose?? For the service I got forced tip was totally out of line!

This place is great! The staff is really friendly. You need to go in knowing that the servings are huge. My friend and I got the potato pancake and the boodae jeongol hot pot option. The pancake was enough for the whole meal because of the rice and banchan that came on the side. The hot pot is listed for 2 people but we each took a quart of leftover soup home. The jeongol was sooooo good. Ordering too much was a happy mistake because now we have enough leftovers for at least a few days. I would suggest going with 4+ people and getting stuff to share so you can try more.

Waited for VERY VERY long until food is served, more than 50 mins I’d say. And there wasn’t even fully occupied!

The tables inside this K restaurant tell a lot about its history and charm. I ordered the mackerel for dinner, and it absolutely nailed my expectations. Perfectly prepared, crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. It was so flavorful that I even ate the bones and skin!
The meal came with 8 or 9 different banchans, and I especially enjoyed the kimchi, cucumber salad, and fish cakes.
I can’t wait to return and try more dishes. Definitely a spot worth revisiting.
