Our food was delicious Service was fast staff extremely friendly. We will definitely return
Minnie was our server, and she was outstanding!!!!!! She made our experience so much fun, plus she was very knowledgeable with the menu, The food was delicious. The jalapeño scalloped potatoes were out of this world.
We showed in time and were told we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated and there were a bunch of tables that were empty and remained empty when we were seated. So don't know why we were not seated right away. The server was very nice but slow and inattentive to our table. It took forever to get drinks and bread and our meal ordered. Steak was good. Broccolini sucked. Mashed potatoes were whipped and good. After 1.5 hours there I was underwhelmed and there are many other choices for a steak. Hyde park steakhouse is way way better. More attentive and great food and drinks.
Ordered the chef recommendation Waygu. Underwhelming flavor. The filet duet was very salty. Specialty non- alcoholic drink: Dragon fruit was excellent. Our service was great and very pleasant.
Can't say I've ever had bad food or service at Mitchell's. Our waitress was exceptional. We had tried the new Brazilian steakhouse across the street for lunch, so we opted for seafood. Started with the calamari, lobster bisque (we both love lobster or crab bisque) and split the chopped baby spinach salad (one of my favorite salads). Calamari was flash fried correctly and tender and if I we were at home we probably lick the bisque bowl clean, but that is what the excellent second round of sour dough bread is for! The wife loves the shrimp scampi here, I concur that it is excellent as it is not over powering with garlic. I had the scallops & risotto (finished the next day for lunch), it was excellent, the little chunks of butternut squash kept messing with me as my mind kept thinking risotto should not have chunks, but it was tasty. Of course, we always opt for the jalapeno scalloped potatoes, another of our favorites. Probably one of the first times we passed on dessert... too full. As usual Mitchell's provided another great experience.
The food was amazing. Service was a little slow, and it wasn't very busy. Our server was super friendly but a little forgetful. Timing was off like not getting wine when food was served. The food, though...the lobster bisque was amazing. Husband got bone-in ribeye, and it was perfectly cooked. I got the duet filets, and they were so tender and flavorful. Would definitely recommend it!
The chocolate cake was very tasty and very giant, Kaylee did a great job serving it to us and Daniel did great packing up the rest of the slice to take home

Great experience last night!! They were really busy and still took great care of us! Angel, our server, was very attentive and professional. The General Manager, Daniel, came by and made sure we were having a great experience and helped make our night extra memorable with a signed menu! Then the Executive Chef came by as well!! Amazing service!!

I had the Unveiling cocktail, lobster bisque, the 14oz NY strip med. rare, bone marrow butter, house corn, jalapeño scalloped potatoes, and a crème brûlée. For starters, the lobster bisque was amazing & incredibly creamy, the bone marrow butter was amazing, and both sides complemented the steak very well. The crème brûlée was also phenomenal, I love crème brûlée and had no complaints with it. The cocktail was very good & had a really nice presentation.
My only complaint is in the seasoning of the steak. It doesn't seem like it was seasoned enough before it was put on the grill, which led to it becoming slightly charred instead of forming a nice crust, and the taste was a little underwhelming until I put on some additional salt provided at the table.
Overall, Mitchell's was fairly similar to Hyde Park with some small improvements in their add-ones and atmosphere, and is some of the best fine-dining in Columbus, but a place like Gibson's in Chicago would still be a step above.

I was in town for a conference and was invited to dinner with a small group. Servers were great. The chef needs to be replaced. 90 minutes until our entrees
came out. The sides didn't show up until we finished our entrees. Food was not hot and was only mediocre in flavor. The place was practically empty when we arrived at 7pm on a Friday night. Now I know why.

I went for a banquet and had THE best New York Strip I've ever tasted! A good size- 12 oz I think, and at least 2 in height. Tender, juicy and succulent. It was slightly under done for me (as can happen in serving 40 people at once) and they were happy to slide it across the grill then made sure it was perfect. Service was excellent with happy, friendly servers. Very pricey no doubt but if you've got the dough it is worth every penny.
Wheelchair accessibility: No problem using my rollator. They were very accommodating.

I had the wedge salad and it was phenomenal and very large. Mitchell did not skimp on the blue cheese and bacon. The dressing was creamy and delicious. My son had the New York strip. He said it was very good. Someone in our group ordered the carrot cake and it was huge and shared by all. No one complained as it was very tasty. We have a table in the bar for the adults and the servers/bartenders were great and kept us entertained all night long.

Food is really mediocre. Absolutely nothing special about it. The filet mignon tastes like a steak from Golden Corral. The cocktail is over sugared and desert tastes like a pastry from Walmart! The waitress Maddie is unprofessional and inexperienced. Not sure why she works there if she thinks customers are like dummies that need to come and go fast so that she gets her tips fast. You would think a restaurant like this could offer a unique or at least a decent experience. But no, you probably would get better service from Olive Garden. If you look for a nice steakhouse, don’t consider Michell’s Steakhouse. They took advantage of the fact that people would think this is a Cameron Mitchell restaurant where food and service are actually decent.
