The atmosphere was great, the service was great as well! The food is not up to par for a $60 filet mignon. For the value I've had better steak for around the same price.

Went there Saturday night 11/22/25. Right off the bat, my water glass was dirty. When ordering dinner, I was informed that they were out of baked potatoes. A steakhouse out of baked potatoes at 6:30 pm on Saturday? Surely you jest!
The place is loud, but that is to be expected with the high ceilings. Service was above average but not quite as attentive as I would expect for a place with their high prices.
My wife almost found a piece of lobster in the lobster bisque. Almost.
Steaks were excellent. Cooked perfectly and awesome. I just do not care for a great steak with mashed potatoes for a side dish.
Overall, you can tell that this is no longer a Cameron Mitchell property. We will not be back anytime soon.

There were a couple of errors in the orders received, but nothing egregious, and all errors were corrected. The biggest problem was the amount of time it took to receive our food. Granted, we were a large party, however, the restaurant was well aware of our reservation, and it was confirmed previous times before our arrival. Open table states that reservations are for two hours. It was 90 minutes before half of our party received their entrees, so we were fortunate that the restaurant did not try to enforce that limitation. Lastly, one steak which had not been prepared as ordered, wasn't brought back to the table until we were receiving our checks. The restaurant was not overly crowded the night we were there, there were open tables around us the entire time we were there, and, with full view of the front door, there was never a waiting line for guest to be seated. Had that been the case, the less than stellar service would be understood.
We visited Mitchell's while in Columbus on business. Our party of eight was seated at our reservation time. The entire experience was excellent!
Beautiful restaurant! Wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing. Birthday celebration for my daughter was perfect.
Was disappointe.. ordered a Tommyhawk steak At 6:00 on a Tuesday and 5 minutes later the server tells us the sold the last one! Not what I would expect at 6:00 It was probably for the best.... Food was good not great!
We sat down and it took over 15 minutes for us to order and after we did and got our 1st course they put the wrong food in front of everyone. We went for my father in laws birthday and they decided when he was opening his gifts would be the perfect time to try and put his food in front of him. It was awkward and a little uncomfortable trying to figure where to put his gift bag and cards and his food plate. They could have waited an extra 5 minutes for us to finish that before they brought out the food. When they brought out the main dishes, again, everyone got the wrong plate so we had to hand each other the correct plates. The food was delicious, everything was well done and that part was perfect. We ordered dessert and that was good and only 2 of us got the wrong item in front of us. When it came to the bill it was going to be split and we told him how we wanted it split. When we got the bill, it wasn't split so we sent it back and it took 15 minutes for it to come back and it was still wrong! We didn't say anything and just paid the bill. When we were leaving I went to use the restroom and sat in the 1st stall and there was ZERO toilet paper! I had to “drip dry” and use NOTHING. COME TO FIND OUT THAT MY MOTHER INLAW TOLD THE HOSTESS THERE WAS NO PAPER 20 MINUTES PRIOR! We spent over $600 and I'm HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in the service. We will not be back because of the service alone.

Steak did not rise to the level of a premier steakhouse. Our shrimp cocktail and wedge salads were excellent. But, you go to a steakhouse for the steak and I could never go back after the quality of the steak last evening.
We had an amazing experience at Mitchell’s Steakhouse. Our server Nikki was absolutely wonderful!! She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of from the moment we sat down until we walked out the door. Eric was the bartender and our drinks were super tasty! The Herb n’ Soda was especially delicious!
Our steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and all of the sides were just as good. The assistant manager Brittany came over to our table to check in on us and ensure our experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Between Nikki’s amazing service, Eric’s fantastic cocktails, and the great food, it was a five-star night all around. We’ll definitely be back soon!

The place is nice yes, but no more exceptional than many others that are more moderately priced. I got a slab of cooked cow on a plate. No parsley, no "dressing up" the plate. I think Mitchell's could up their game by lowering their prices and not making all the sides a la carte. Could be better bread too and some better butter--like cinnamon or honey butter or even garlic butter.
For the amount of food which tastes pretty dang good, it wasn't worth the price.
