The service was fantastic. The food was very unimpressive for the price. My husband has the salmon and I had the risotto. They were both about what one would expect for a chain restaurant. The salmon was dry and the risotto was gummy. Our guests had the short ribs which they seemed to enjoy.

Waitress was horrible. Brought sushi and had to wait 15 minutes for soy sauce wasabi. Didn't bring a ramekin but a gravy boat?! We had tickets for play and came in plenty of time but ended up having to have food boxed because it wasn't cooked right and was so late though we told her she could bring it asap. Sewer broke from building next door and the whole place smelled. Would have at least expected the manager to apologize, but nothing.... Have been here several times but this was the worst!

The food was prepared to our liking and our drinks were particularly well crafted. I had the spicy pear margarita and my fiancé had the peach mule. Our server Kelly was a delight and incredibly informative, she certainly helped to enhance our experience. 5 ⭐️

Quality of food has improved since no longer part of Cameron Mitchell family of restaurants.

We were excited to try Mitchell's during our visit to Columbus. We ordered a ribeye steak, medium rare. We also ordered the lobster bisque. The lobster bisque had great flavor but very little lobster was included. The soup was not as creamy/ dense as we are accustomed to but it wasn't bad. The steak was ordered medium rare and was delivered to us very under cooked. When we got the steak back they were served on the original plates, not new plates. We ordered our steaks Oscar style and when we got the steaks back it was clear the Oscar topping was recycled from the first delivery so it was no longer warm. The steak was cooked correctly the second time. They did provide us with a complimentary side dish for our trouble. I have been to many steak houses and this was my least favorite meal. My wife and I will not be back. Servers were kind and professional as you'd expect. The food was just underwhelming and a disappointment especially at this price point.

At this price range, I expected better choices better service. Multiple option of food were not available. Overall, I do not think I would recommend that place because it's not really worth it and granted you don't go there for value but at that price point I expect better choices and better service

We were served by a very nice, but very inexperienced waiter. Particularly when you factor in menu pricing. If you are going to charge Manhattan prices, the service and quality of food should be commensurate. We have dined at Mitchell's many times over the years, primarily driven by the ambience and decor, but I can no longer accept paying sky high prices for a mid-level experience, as there are too many alternatives vying for my business. I believe there is a niche available in this market, but in this diners humble opinion, this is not it.....

Surf and turf on Christmas was disappointing. The filet was good but very small. The fingerling potatoes were not cooked long enough and the price of the meal was too high for the quantity and quality of food served.

Dining at Mitchell's on Christmas Day has been a tradition for several years now. not that we don't eat there other times, too, but it's definitely one of the best places open on the Big Day. This year's experience was exceptionally good, thanks to our wonderful server, Elena, who was spot-on with everything we asked for. Brava, Elena!

We had a reservation for 10 for Christmas Eve and was seated in a small private room that was absolutely perfect for our family. The ambiance was very classy and the waitress we had was outstanding. However when it came to the steaks we ordered we were very disappointed. We assumed that a steakhouse would have the best steaks and we certainly didn't get that. The Prime Ribeyes were very tough and grisly and we had several steaks that were sent back as they were not cooked to order. We spend almost $1,300. for dinner and felt we could have gotten a better steak at a franchise steak house for a much lower price.

This was the worst dining experience! We arrived early for our reservation early and were told it would be no problem. Service was very slow even though they were not busy. Took about an hour to get any bread. We had a couple of drinks while relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Would have been nice to have some bread with our drinks. When we finally ordered our food it came out cold and not very good. The manager finally stopped at our table and asked how it was going. When we told him the truth, he got upset and made it seem like it was our fault. Very unprofessional! If you want a fine dining experience, go to Hyde Park. It is about the same price and the service and food are exceptional!

Ran out of bread (had to ask). Rarely got checked on. Was brought the wrong soup and had to wait a long time. My husband's soup got cold.

Apps and sides were very good. The $65 ribeye was a lame attempt at providing a true steakhouse experience. Quality of the beef was good. It was cut very thin (approx 1”) and seemed to be cooked with consumer grade appliances. No crust, no sear, seasoning was merely average. Anyone with modest cooking experience can do better at home with fairly basic technique. I ate it, it was ok, but entirely forgettable.

Hadn't been in several years. The service and food quality was sub par from any of my prior visits here.

So much. First they aren't a Cam Mitchell restaurant anymore which is the only reason we went there. Dinner was meh, 5 or 6/10. Service 6/10. Ambiance was 3/10, it's old outdated and cold
