Obsessed. Easily my favorite truck in town! The breakfast bowl with the plantains and black beans is awesome and so filling, and the arepas are all amazing.
10/10 no doubt!

We went to taste the Arepa Peruana con Chicharrón. The pork belly (chicharrón) was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was delicious. chef Yokix cooks smart and thinking in details. Love it, thank you!

Ordered 1 chicken and 1 beef empanada to go. I got 1 cheese and 1 beef. Both were very boring with no seasoning or flavor. With the beef empanada grease ran down my hand.
The food at this Venezuelan food truck is genuinely delicious and fresh. I was impressed with the quality and the interesting variations on classic dishes, it's a great find for something authentic and tasty.
However, be prepared for significant drawbacks. The service is slow and the prices are notably high. The cost is on par with a sit-down restaurant, which feels steep for a food truck experience. For example, a Venezuelan breakfast with a bottle of juice runs about $22, and a full equipo (which is actually quite a tiny portion) is about $14.
It's important to note that the truck operates in a food court setting. The seating, atmosphere, and maintenance are provided by the central restaurant area, not by the truck itself. This context makes the premium pricing even more difficult to justify, as you are not paying for a dedicated service environment.
The prices are not listed on the large poster menu hung on the truck. You only see the total once you are handed the receipt after paying, which makes the already high cost a surprising and unpleasant shock.
The long wait time, lack of price transparency, and confusing value proposition mean it's not an option if you're in a hurry or on a budget.
In short: The food is excellent, but you pay a premium price for a meal that lacks the full service and ambiance of a restaurant. You must budget extra time and be prepared for a surprise at the register. Recommended only for a leisurely treat if you're aware of the costs beforehand.

I’d like to share some feedback about an empanada I recently purchased from your place, which was priced at seven dollars. Honestly, for that price, I expected at least a decent amount of filling, or simply for the empanada to be filled properly, as it traditionally should be.
I’m not usually one to complain, but it felt disrespectful that even after eating more than half, almost three-quarters, there was still barely any filling. Regardless of the taste, which might have been okay, the lack of filling made the whole experience really disappointing.
This not only affects the customer experience but also misrepresents Venezuelan cuisine, which is known for being rich, generous, and flavorful. This empanada, to be honest, was mediocre, and way too expensive for what it was.
I hope you can take this as constructive criticism, because for those of us who know and appreciate Venezuelan food, this simply doesn’t do it justice.

I wanted to try their empanadas; however, some equipment was down. It did not detour me from trying something new the Full Equipo Arepa. It was full of flavor, and filled. I also tried their sweet plantains. Both choices were great. I still will like to try their empanadas sometime.

I've been going to Mordisco off and on for almost two years. 2023-2024 I worked just around the corner and would get their breakfast burrito multiple times a week.
They are always super friendly and treat you like they've known you their whole lives. Even in small interactions, it will put a smile on your face.
Also, their hot sauce is the best I've ever tasted. I'll put it on anything. Keep up the good work!
