Attended a Brunch event everything was amazing. Over looking the downtown area was a nice vibe also. I suggest grabbing some friends and try this place out.

Food and drinks: The drinks are amazing ask about their special drinks. You can’t go wrong with them.

Not at all the quality service/staff you would expect from a Marriott hotel. It’s more like a bouncer and bartender is your front desk and hotel staff. So basically don't expect actual hotel service. Staff treats you as if you’re a club rat and not a guest in the hotel. Upstairs club prevents sleep before they’re closed (btw owner of the mandrake has been accused if heinous things). Beds are stiff, rooms small, found dirt in the shower. I would avoid unless you in your mid 20s looking to party all night. Location is great and the downstairs bars is cool (we had a bartender there that was awesome). The party thing is an obvious vibe they are going for and for the most part it’s done well however, at the expense of guests sleeping at the hotel. Bonvoy members only come here if you are pillow chasing.

Seems like the homeless use this place as a hangout . You’d think they have security nightly for that . Feel bad for their staff.

Amazing hotel and staff, excellent location.
There is a rooftop bar , this hotel is located in a downtown area, just like a major city on a weekend you may hear music or street noise however the staff and location outweigh noise. Favorite Columbus hotel.

We missed having a closet, safe, and seating in our room. Plus, the rooms were very small.
However, the staff was fabulous. We were in town for a wedding. Aisha Yeni worked with me on our room situation. She was amazing. So positive and helped us getting things settled quickly.
Also, the bar/check in area staff were wonderful when we checked in on September 13 in the afternoon. We were able to get an early check in which was great. The young man who was working was amazing. I wish I remembered his name.
Lastly, we returned from the wedding around midnight on Sat. 14-15. The valet parking attendant informed us that there were not any spots available even thought we had access and entry tickets for the weekend. The young man at the bar/front desk was so helpful and positive. I do not know his name,.

Rooms: Rooms were small. Also lacked seating, closets, safe.

Nearby activities: Great location!

Walkability: Very walkable!

Staff needs better training. Valet parking was a joke, told to park somewhere else as they were full. Didn’t offer to let me offload my luggage. Hotel is very loud. Woke up at 11:45pm to horrible loud techno music coming from roof party. This place desperately wants to be the new Ace Hotel but it’s not happening. It’s a Marriott, let us go to bed without trash music waking us up. Not acceptable. Don’t stay here, just go ahead and pay more and stay where you will be treated with more respect and not woken up by crap music right before midnight.

We had a beautiful view of downtown Columbus! The room was perfect: the bed was comfy, the TV was adjustable, the shower was huge!

So I had to come back: The Staff has names and I want to be sure to acknowledge them personally. Sherita, Aisha, Reyder, Enis ,Rory, Theo, and Alex: The Valet was awesome as well.

Corporate do you see these names: They made this place ROCK!! Please do not forget about them when earnings soar. They helped to achieve your dreams in making this vision possible and did it with GRACE!!!

This was my first time staying here. I did not do my homework because I brought my three year old ( All ME). This place is really cool for a person visiting or someone who needs a break from home/ hideaway. I stayed in the Queen with a balcony. The room is perfect for one person. It was clean and comforting The view of downtown was cool. The staff in every section (valet, hotel, restaurant,) was amazing in helping me with my needs. You are close to many bars and other restaurants. Not far from the Ohio State campus.

I completed my first night and boy was it amazing. I can't say enough how the staff just goes over and beyond. No complaining, no attitude, just wanted to know how/ if they could help.

You need a card to access the elevator to the rooms. I loved it!! I felt safe that not just anyone could come into the hotel and freely roam the halls.

It was quiet outside of the music from the night life. But it's soo romantic and it wasn't too bad. It was off by 230 when bars close. But hey it's so much to do you may be enjoying the atmosphere yourself. This is a place a couple can stay just to get away. It's cool for people who just want to zhen.. OR PARENTS WHO JUST WANT TO RELAX!!!
If your traveling for work I would recommend this place. Nice and cozy overall comfortable.

Townhall restaurant/bar is located inside on the 1st level. I did not eat there because it's organic but their staff was soo friendly and understanding I almost tried something ( not adventurous with food just me) but it looked amazing and the options were creative. I think if I didn't read organic I would have eaten. Shame on me because the people who were eating seemed to be enjoying the food.

The staff/ cleanliness/location/ rooms will definitely bring me back.

Oh they have and old school rotary phone!!! I haven't seen one since the 90's!!!

I forgot you also get a free drink token!!

I appreciate everything!!!!

Beware of staying here if you prefer to go to sleep before 3 am. This was what I’d call the worst hotel stay of my life, horrible loud music that kept us awake even with ear plugs and a white noise machine. Our room was on floor 8 and the fixtures were literally vibrating from the music. Definitely do not recommend.

A cool, modern hotel in a lively, fun neighbourhood filled with cafes and restaurants.

This was our first stay at a Moxy hotel and we absolutely loved it. Our room (Queen suite) was spacious with a big balcony and a very well-designed and well-equipped bathroom. Service throughout was great, from housekeeping to the front desk (part of the bar area, nice touch) to the valet. We'll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Columbus. The location in Short North cannot be beat and there are so many restaurant options very close by.

The itself hotel was good - nice lounge area and staff. Rooms were fine, small and utilitarian (but I expected that). Biggest thing to be aware of is that the location is incredibly noisy - thumping bass and party noise until 3am. We could not sleep. This seems to be a pattern in the reviews, beware.

Cool atmosphere, clean, but small rooms, and great bar staff. It's close to High St and less than 15 minutes from the airport. The "token drink" coin at check in is a great touch. Great place for a short, fun trip.

Insanely noisy and impossible to sleep at night!!! Located right next to a rooftop club that blasts music all night and the windows are nowhere near sound proofed. Not to mention there isn’t even a closet in the room?
