I love OLC. I really do. I love their ambients, the way that the place is easy going, the dynamic of you being able to be there to have a talk, to study or work, to be around family.
I love the amount of coffee options and I know how the staff knows what they are doing. They are definitely specialists! And I love seeing specialists and good energy people making good coffee.
I think the only thing that will always fairly be my complaint is how hot the coffee comes. Not sure if it’s to ensure coffee integrity, or ifs lack of warming the cups first so the coffee can be poured and not being cold from the cold mugs.
But it’s one of my favorite places to be. Not to mention this Franklinton one has sooo many food options. I loved it.

The coffee is always stellar; my summer favorite is a honey lavender latte! The atmosphere is light and peaceful. The seating is actually very comfortable and there's also local art and hand made jewelry you can purchase too! There's also two handicap parking spaces right out front too which is so nice. The staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and make a damn good cup of coffee. Meet up with a friend or bring your book and a laptop to get things done, it's a lovely place to be!

So sad! This place had cute vibes and the workers were kind, but the vegan Madelyn’s brownie I got tasted weird, I looked at the date….8/14/25….(today is 8/23) yikes either it was either 9 days old or 9 days past the expiration date. The banana bread latte was just ok. Don’t think I’d go back:( just disappointed I spent $12 for a just ok latte and old brownie.

They don't give you a full 16oz drink if you order light ice. Never had this problem until my last visit. Don't know why they've made this change but it's a shame.
When I looked at this Intitially it seemed really nice and pretty but when I got here its like a thrift market instead and kinda dark and meh inside. Its still nice overall but not what was expected. Food is prepackaged and no actual menu - saw a review with a video of hot food. Coffee tasted sour so Im glad I bought a glass bottle of strawberry milk to wash it all down with! Could have been an off day for them so unsure. Might try again in the future but Ill fosho be getting my coffee from maudines still instead. They know how to make an iced vanilla latte!

I've been visiting different coffee shops around the Cbus area just to get a sense of what works for me as a bibliophile ...for me personally, atmosphere is #1 as I always go to sit and read. I came here on a Sunday morning and will definitely be back. I only got a hot tea, so I can't comment on their coffee. Some comments seem to complain that the workers don't engage enough with the customers, but I don't give a crap ...I'm a bookish introvert who goes places for the ambiance, not small talk. They answered my questions and took care of my order ...that's all I need. The music was nice and chill, not distracting in any way. I can say that the view and seating seems to be better up front than on the side, which has a view of only construction at the moment. The bar along the windows with stools is a little low for me to comfortably read and take notes. I will try to come closer to opening time to score one of the tables next to the front window.
The baristas are super friendly and helpful. They will validate your parking for 1 hour in the garage as well.

The service was really nice. I enjoyed it very much. My tea was out standing.

They are nice as long as you shut up and don’t say nothing; especially the manager guy who wears the hat. They don’t want to talk, joke or converse with black people; found that out the hard way.
