Incredible pastries, and I'm very picky! Crispy, layered croissant. Nice ambiance. A tad pricey but well worth it!

Very cool environment to grab a coffee and enjoy a delicious pastry right in the heart of downtown. All of the staff had wonderful attitudes and genuinely seemed to care about making everyone's experience amazing.

Parable transcends Columbus, we are lucky to have it. Far and away the purest single origin in the dontown area. Best atmosphere and baked goods too. They nail so many things here.

I have returned from my hiatus to speak on behalf of parable (again). Pastries just wake me up like nothing else. I say that but every time I try to get to parable "early" (i.e., before 10am), I fail to do so ;'( But it's ok! These days there are still goodie pastries available for the sleepy birbs (hurrah) Unfortunately, my gastrointestinal system did not hunger at that hour of the morn, so the spinach artichoke danish was a bit of an underwhelming experience, even though the danish was freshly toasted ;'( I liked the chip though (cronch). Otherwise, it kind of gave artichoke dip but served in a pastry vessel instead of a plastic container. I enjoyed the honey grapefruit brûlée circle croissant and guava cream cheese pastelito more. Neither were too sweet and both had nice crispity crunchities! Service was very thoughtful as well! Whenever staff brought pastries to someone's table, they'd always ask if the person would like a fork and would then go run and grab one. I personally prefer to go feral on my food with my fingers but the gesture seemed very kind. Also, I'm pretty sure the entire album of The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess was played. We stan queer icons

Really expensive... $50 for 2 mediocre coffees and 3 pastries that could have been better. Vibe is good but probably won't come back

This is a coffee shop and bar in one people! It’s relaxed, cozy and full of lush pretty plants. They have a rotating menu of gorgeous cocktails. I went with the cutie patootie which had blueberry vodka, cassis, blueberry Demerara, lemon and egg white. It actually tasted like blueberry pie, crust and all! All the drinks look amazing. And such a great ambiance, a perfect place to read, work or just cozy up and sip a cocktail and stare at the rain

The honey grapefruit brûlée croissant was actually phenomenal. I’ve never tasted such a floral yet balanced pastry before in my life. Can’t wait to try their other flavors throughout the year. The coffee is pretty solid as well and they have a nice sized menu

The atmosphere here is amazing and the staff is soo far beyond kind! I will say their chai is severely lacking flavor and there were pretty limited pastry offerings. It’s beautiful inside with plenty of seating and the team is super great. Just not what k thought I was getting, especially for $8!

This is such a cute cafe! I love the atmosphere and all the plants. I got a matcha latte when I went, however I will say it was very expensive for the size and quality. There are definitely better and cheaper options around. It also took a significant amount of time to receive my order, but they were pretty busy!I would love to come again and try out their bar next time or some pastries!

My favorite coffee shop in Columbus hands down. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and kind. Most importantly, the selection of drinks and pastries is a foodie's dream. Parable rotates their menu around seasonal flavors and ingredients which are always fresh and exciting. As a matcha drinker, I personally think this is the best offering in town. The pastries are always photo worthy and just as delicious, plus they're a great size for sharing (or saving for later). Seating is definitely first come first serve, but if you manage to get a spot, it's a great place to sit and work or catch up with friends. The interior is filled with lush greenery, making you feel like you've stepped into a secret garden in the middle of the city. The seating is comfortable and there are plenty of outlets for charging a device if needed. If you're more in the mood for a late night hang, Parable moonlights as a cocktail bar from Wednesday to Sunday, with jazz nights on Sundays. They offer unique cocktails, beers, wines, and sake. If you're headed downtown be sure to stop by and check out all they have to offer!
