This place is what we called OUR place, me and my husband loved having our date night here!!! The best thing is they change the menu every month so you will not get bored with the food. Pelino's are so great doing their food, you have to experience it.
One of the best meals we've ever had. You can taste the love & soul in the food from beginning to end. The service was also amazing. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and gave suggestions without being pushy. She was awesome and really took care of us. If you're looking for an experience & care about the quality of your food book the reservation. We will be back!
Overall, dining at Pelino's was a wonderful experience. We were celebrating a birthday, and I had one opportunity to make the right decision. Having not been there before, we were basically "winging it"! From the moment we were seated, I knew we were in for something special. The place is very quaint and comfortable, with minimal distractions. It was apparent that the food and service were the intended focus. Our server was very knowledgeable but not arrogant or assuming. He described the plate, how it was prepared, and why the selected wine was chosen to enhance the flavors and complement the dish. The entire staff was involved to ensure that we appreciated our experience. I can't help to mention something that caught my attention... The chef's interaction with his staff was directed toward the preparation of the food and the timing of plating. There was no one on their phone texting or scrolling, or talking about what time they get off! I look forward to going back soon, as they assured me that the menu changes often to take advantage of the freshest ingredients, much of which is sourced locally.
The food and service was amazing! The portion size of the Antipasti's we ordered was a bit small for the price but everything else was well portioned. This was my second time eating here and I will absolutely continue to go back!
The place was cute and had an eclectic menu, but the food was just decent. There wasn't anything that convinced me to return.
To start with the positive, the wait-staff was exceptional: clear, helpful and chatty in interesting ways. But the portions were so small that as soon as I got home from my $50 dinner, I ate two pieces of toast and peanut butter (and I am a small person). The taglietelli ai funghi was cold when we got it, and the pasta was tougher to chew than it should be even if it was meant to be cooked al dente. The pastry shell of the tart that three of us had for dessert was much too tough to cut with the spoon that we were given it eat it with. The other problem is that the air system blows cold air all over. Three of my party of four ate with the jackets on zipped up to the chin. The noise level is higher than I would have expected, which some people may like but I found it made it very hard to hear my dinner companions.
We had a wonderful dinner celebrating my daughter's boyfriend's birthday. The food was outstanding — every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Our server was exceptional and knew every detail about each ingredient, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Incredible food, impeccable service, and a perfect evening all around!
Great environment. Street parking. Workers were very nice. Warm vibes. We didn't do much research on menu or the place. Food was good. I would like a little more details on the pastas like textures etc. So wish they were more knowledgeable in that to make us aware of what to expect. I wish they offered more protein options! Like baked or breaded chicken. Great place though.
Great experience- interesting menu, intimate size, seasonal menu and affordable and unusual winesz
Amazing private dinner and wine pairing experience at their new tasting room at 680 N Pearl St.

What a fantastic family run restaurant! Its always a great thing when you speak to the owners as they help to run the floor. Will certainly be back!
We really enjoyed our meal and experience at Pelinos! We chose the Pelinos dinner option. My husband had the risotto which was delicious. We also had the pear pasta which was very good as well. Definitely recommend for desert the tiramisu or torte option!
The food was excellent. The stools at the high top tables are too low, Our server spoke to quickly and I even asked him to slow down. Our first course was mixed up when brought to our table.
We went for my birthday and ordered the most expensive thing in the menu - chefs tasting + wine pairing. Only 2/7 of the meals were actually served with the wine paring. The other 5 we experienced getting the wine several minutes prior to the meal or getting the meal with no wine. The food was delicious, bit we had a horrible experience from a timing perspective for what we ordered and paid $400 for.
One of my favorite spots in Columbus. Food is outstanding but the wine menu and pairings are unreal. Some of my absolute favorites and we purchase bottles to go whenever we visit. Highly recommend for any foodie in central Ohio
