Very very good service, excellent 3 course meal and appreciated the description of all menu offerings. Highly recommend, delicious limoncello spritzer and dessert. We will be going back soon as menu changes monthly. 5 Star 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋

We did the 4-course meal and everything we were served was delicious. Our server was great. We will definitely be back.

The bar chair is a little low compared to the booth height. Food was great. Nice to get away from Italian with an over use of tomato and cheese. Unique dishes. Parking stinks, but what are you going to do? Check it out!

Excellent flavor profile. I may not have loved every single course but they were all very authentic and unique. I’m extremely picky about my Italian , this place was absolutely amazing! My only complaint is that it’s really small and most tables are right by the door so I did eat in my winter coat.

We were very excited to try Pelino’s Pasta for my birthday dinner because we love the focaccia’s sandwiches and gelato of Piazza Pelino. However, we didn’t love it. The food is good, but portions are small and dishes are expensive. We didn’t think it was especially amazing and we left still hungry. The desserts were very good. We tried the Tiramisu, beautifully served in an espresso maker (Bialetti type) and the Amicizia Perfetta. Unfortunately, we don’t think we will come back soon.

The entire experience was incredible. We all did the Pelino's Dinner but selected different items, as well as the wine pairings. The food was simply amazing and the wine pairings even better! A couple of our favs were the Caplaz alla Zucca Ferraresi (browned butter squash with sage pasta), the Cacio e Pepe, which they finish tableside in a round of parmesan, the Pistacchio e Burrata and the two desserts of Tiramisu and L'Amicizia Perfetta (amazing olive oil over pistacchio gelato paired with a flourless chocolate cake). Our servers were so well informed, it was a delight to ask a question!

I was very excited to finally try Pelino’s! We really enjoyed the food – we started with the focaccia and both got the 4-course meal and wine. As others have mentioned, the portions are small but we were OK with more emphasis on food quality. Our server was very nice and attentive. One minor downside is it was very loud in the restaurant, but that seemed to calm down after awhile.

.Unfortunately, the overall experience was ruined for me when shortly before the 2-hour mark we were asked to leave. The hostess was as nice as you can be about that, but basically explained to us that they only reserve tables for 2 hours. That seems like a long time, but when you factor in drinks, starter, and four courses, it can take quite a long time (and at one point we were told the kitchen was behind so our pasta course was delayed – we were not bothered by that, but then don’t later kick us out for taking too long!). At the time we were shooed out, we had just finished paying the bill and I had maybe one or two sips of wine left so it felt extremely unnecessary as we were pretty much on our way out. I looked at my watch once we were outside in the street and it was 2 hours + 1 minute after our reservation time. I also noticed that the table next to us had arrived before us and was still there after we were pushed out, so I suppose you’re just at the mercy of whether your specific table has been slated for someone else(?) I’m not sure how the timeframe would work if you ordered the 7-course chef meal!

As others mentioned the price point is high so it was disappointing to end the experience with an eat-and-get-out vibe. Also ironically, it feels extremely un-Italian to rush people out of a restaurant.. :) I can’t say I would never go back, but sadly it’s probably not going to be as high on my list based on this experience.

This place is okay. I was excited to try it because people recommended it. There is a homemade pasta upscale vibe to this place which I appreciated and I thought some dishes were excellent and others not great.

We got 2 Pelino’s dinners for $64/each which include an app, homemade pasta main pasta and dessert. This place doesn’t have mains that are not pasta. It is a very wheat filled experience.

We also got the focaccia which was probably my favorite as well and they have a good alcohol list.

The appetizer bruschetta was quite good, we also got the soup which was extremely buttery and just okay.

The homemade pasta course was good but very small.

The main pasta dishes were a disappointment. The pastas were quite Al dente and the flavors were just not good. We got the buratta one and the one with anchovies and the anchovies pasta was just so overpowered by an anchovies flavor that wasn’t good. The server asked how they were and we said not good and to her credit she offered to give us something else but we weren’t really looking for more food, it just wasn’t good.

The desserts were the star though. The tiramisu very good and creatively presented and the torte I thought was delicious.

Overall the vibe felt a little cold and drab inside. They have a lovely bar but no one sitting at it.

I may try this place one more time but I think generally I prefer Basi.

We absolutely LOVED Pelino's Pasta! I'm sad it took me this long to finally try it. We were seated across from the bar and both sat on the same side of the high-top table. At first I thought it was odd, but the place is little and it was fun to watch the bartenders and look out at the restaurant. Alicia was our waitress and was absolutely fantastic. She gave us a tour of the dinner and wine menus and was such a pleasure. We got a bottle of the owner's favorite pinot grigio-esque wine - so good! And the food was incredible. We did the 4-course dinner and ordered different things - it was hard to choose and we wanted to try it all! The table-side cacio e pepe parmesan wheel was fun and is a permanent on their menu. They have a new menu every month, but our favorites of the October night included the Spaghetti e Zucca, Roselline con Mele, and the La Strega d'Autunno dessert. I will absolutely be back.

I have come here on and off for years since their opening. What I can tell you is, it is assuredly a little Columbus gem. It is true that the portions are smaller and do not fit the “average” for Columbus pricing, based on the whole of what you get. However that is the experience, a plethora of small plates of generally and sometimes impeccably prepared plates of Italian fusion, and high shelf classics. The ambience is truly one of the best, always buzzy and fun. It’s a culinary experience with its flaws and advantages like anything else. Overall it’s as I said, a gem, that I will continue to attend and hope it stays! I count this in the Columbus top 5 for sure.
