Ive been here twice and was super excited to try their pierogis and strogonoff. The pierogis were delicious both times and I absolutely would recommend them. However, this time I finally got the mushroom strogonoff. I ordered it as carry out and when I finally sat down to eat it I was horrified. Most of it was burnt and the entire dish tasted like nothing but fennel seed. I took a few bites hoping that I just happened to get a lot in the first bite but no. Im not a fan of fennelseed...
Place is great. Service is always friendly. Food is always delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I love the stickers they've put up around the bar. It a very inclusive environment.
Sauerkraut balls were delicious, fries were great. We got The Mountain which was basically a sampler of all the available pierogies. They were good but not exceptional. The potato latkes were good also.
