I’ve been coming here for years and the price does go up about 50 cents every year or so which is fine I still always come back the staff is sweet and what they serve is good but today I went in to try one of their new seasonal drinks the price has gone up again to 9$ a special drink which is high but can you believe my surprise when I was given a cup nearly half the size of the regular cups they’ve always had ?! The first two pictures are of the drink I got today and the last one is another seasonal drink I had paid 8.50 for in the cups they’ve always used. Raising the price and making the amount less Is wild I hope this decision it gets reevaluated

Everything is always fantastic here but today I tried the matcha and it is, without a doubt, the best matcha I’ve had in a cafe. Beautiful vibrant green, actually tastes like tea, not watery and the perfect amount of sweetness! I can’t recommend it enough! I wish more places could put this level of care into their matcha.

It is not my preference to leave reviews like this, but this disappointing experience, especially around the holidays should be considered as a coachable moment.
Coming from someone who spent 11 years in the service and hospitality industry, I understand what it feels like when staff are nearing closing time. That said, this moment was deeply disheartening with how poorly we were treated.
My family and I were walking through German Village enjoying the festive lights when we attempted to enter this establishment with my five-year-old, who urgently needed to use the restroom and was visibly upset. It was around five minutes before closing, and I was more than willing to purchase a pastry or drink to support the business.
Instead, we were met with unwelcoming behavior and a firm “no.” When I looked at the female employee and asked—genuinely and calmly—if she would truly not allow my crying five-year-old to use the restroom, she stared blankly and shut the door.
What had been a lighthearted, joyful family evening instantly felt shut down by a complete lack of hospitality. Moments like this leave lasting impressions, and unfortunately, not good ones.
Small businesses—and really all businesses should strive to meet guests with warmth and empathy. This could have been handled as a teachable, coachable moment centered on kindness and basic hospitality.
With so many nearby establishments, including CMR restaurants, consistently offering exceptional service and genuine hospitality, I truly hope this experience encourages reflection and growth opportunity.

The best bakery in German Village and the staff is friendly, helpful and patient with people mulling over what they want. My niece works there and that's why we first went or we wouldn't have know it was there. Lol Now we go because we love their delicious selection of fresh baked items and they are worth the price. Top quality! IMO

Love this bakery!! This is the second time we’ve stopped in Columbus during a cross country road trip, and honestly, it is just for these pastries. Everything I’ve tried is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they open early. The space is sparklingly clean. The only thing that could make it better is having a small space to sit and eat your croissant before heading outside. Otherwise, it’s really fantastic (and I live in NYC.)

Great little spot. The pastries are delicious but also very sweet, so definitely grab the pistachio latte it'll even it out.

first of all the drinks are $8+ and they lowkey suck. also there’s no where to sit inside so don’t come if it’s raining or snowing. also if you get a croissant or any other pastry they don’t warm it up so it’s kinda gross. overall probably won’t be coming back the prices are crazy and i can get better drinks and food somewhere else.

I decided to come here on my birthday as a treat and ordered a speciality latte and asked if they could do less milk in it and the lady who took my order said yes (she was very kind)
Whoever made my latte came up to me and degradingly told me that they do not adjust their speciality lattes and that she made it with the correct amount of milk. She was extremely rude and decided to tell me after I paid for a $9 mid latte.
Great selection, super friendly staff

I recently visited this breakfast spot, and although the queue stretched out the door ⏳, the wait turned out to be absolutely worth it. The moment I stepped inside, the aroma of fresh bakes made it clear why this place is so popular 🥐. Among the bakery items, the standout for me was the French onion croissant—flaky, savory, and wonderfully rich 🤤. I also loved the Palmier, perfectly crisp with just the right amount of sweetness.
I couldn’t resist taking home a generous selection of their desserts 🍰. The crème brûlée éclair was silky and indulgent, the chocolate bombe was decadent without being overwhelming 🍫, and the chocolate Chambord flourless cake was pure bliss. The chocolate caramel pecan feuilletine offered an incredible mix of textures, and the Parisian macarons were delicate, colorful, and delicious 🌈.
One small drawback was the smoked salmon sandwich, which felt a bit undersized for the price 🥪.
However, the overall experience—and especially the bakery section—more than made up for it. Despite placing a long and detailed order, the staff at the counter were extremely patient and helpful 😊. I’m already looking forward to visiting again soon! ✨
