Went to the other planks first and left sad and hungry only to come in here and have all the best food and toppings, a full on soda pop from a fountain and the place smelled amazing! Everything was clean and the pizza is over the top good! We left the other place after charging us $8.95 for a tiny bowl of lettuce with no toppings but bits of olive and ten shreds of cheese. I took pictures for Mary Plank so she could see how much better her cousins are operating. Please buy her out and save that place! Also recommend GC location they are phenomenal too.

Don't go to the bar if Matt is working. So incredibly rude, the eye roll asking for drinks and food got me. He was rude to the couple ordering next to us too. I mean that's what we are there for, right? I felt so disrespected, we just left without ordering food. I liked this place until the super rude bartender. Other than that the food and food servers are usually great.

One of my favorite spots in German Village. I usually get pizza but the steak sandwich, the burgers, and the onion rings are regular picks too. The salads are also fresh and tasty. Great selection of beers. Fun spot to watch sports. I'll always love Plank's!

Plank’s is a unique place with an eclectic menu that has several German-type options. Their pierogis are to die for, but everything we’ve tried has been amazing - burgers, pizza, schnitzel, sausages, pretzels, sauerkraut balls, pot roast - all of it! The enclosed outdoor space is cozy and the big tables are perfect for our family of six. The service is always friendly, helpful and attentive. We highly recommend Plank’s the next time you’re looking for something deliciously different!

This is a display of incredibly poor knowledge of what a bier garten should be. The restaurant has alright food, and okay beer, but lacks a specific niche to have its own. It’s a mix of modern and old styles, a mix of pizza and other foods, and a mix of sports bar and traditional bier garten. The food is good and the group seating is nice if a good game is on, but overall the lack of a specific character takes the restaurant down a notch. This is simply a mediocre dining experience due to its lack of specialization in any one thing, from ambience to menu.
Vegetarian options: They have many vegetable dishes. Both veggie pizzas and apps that can meet many desires.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered a pizza over the phone, and the man who took my order was incredibly rude, as if I were bothering him. When I arrived to pick it up, there was no record of my order. The rude person who took it didn’t even bother to place it! I had to order again and wait all over.
When I finally got the pizza, it was honestly the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life—barely any toppings, a burnt crust, and absolutely no flavor. It’s a complete insult to Italian cuisine.
Sometimes you can overlook bad service if the food is good, but this place offers neither good service nor good food. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
