Got a poke bowl with half salmon half tuna. The tuna didn't really taste like anything. I was disappointed. The sauce just tasted like soy sauce. I paid $21. :(

The flavors are good, not overwhelmingly delicious or mouth watering. The meat is tender, and well cooked, but I am underwhelmed with the seasoning; was anticipating something more bold and spicy. We placed our order, walked to the lounge area and waited 27 minutes without receiving a text - walked back into the restaurant and our food had not been prepared. No service person was inherently rude; however, they did seem carried away in conversation which I believe contributed to a prolonged wait time. After an additional 10 minutes our food was given to us to-go. Our drive home is exactly 8 minutes, but the food was barely warm. Maybe a packaging issue??For the price, we anticipated a bit more protein- the rice and veggies are portioned well, but the beef/chicken ratio lacked. We were very excited to try this food, but overall we’re not entirely pleased with the service or the food.I think this would be a safe place to stop if you’re wanting food that’s fresh & healthy and gingerly seasoned. BUT if you are a self proclaimed foodie, like myself, craving new and exciting flavors this spot is not for you.I have no urge to try this place again within the near future - if they’re still available at Budd Dairy within the next year or so maybe I’d be willing to try again. This spot will not be added to my rotation of restaurants to treat myself with.

Make your own or go with one of their own selections, you can’t go wrong. Friendly and fast, you get a ton of food and protein portions are generous. I don’t know if people think this is Cheesecake Factory or what, but it was fresh and healthy and more than enough.

Great poke. They are a little more on the expensive side which I was surprised. I love poke and try it all around the US and this was probably the most expensive for the level it's at. I would recommend seared tuna/ahi as a choice and a re-vamped seaweed salad. I think they have a lot of potential. It's just needs a little more focus.

You can create your own bowl or order a signature. I opted for the signature Pokebap which has both tuna and salmon in there along with a bunch of tasty toppings. The fish tasted fresh and the bowl had all the flavors I love. I also had to try the spam musubi. Theirs is warm and amazing. The signature bowls are on the pricy side for the size (Pokebap $18). But the flavors and freshness were all there!I love that the owner of Pokebap is Korean and was inspired by a trip to Hawaii. He not only brought the Hawaiian staple of poke to Ohio but also infused Korean culture into the restaurant (bap means "rice" in Korean).

overall, it tasted good. The bowl was not filled all the way, making the meal not filling enough on its own, which is unfortunate because $15 feels like it should be a solid meal. Appreciated that they offered fresh mango, I love poke with mango. Sauces were tasty.

I ordered two poke bowls and a sushi roll… but never got my sushi roll in my take out bag. $10 wasted :-)

Prices are ridiculous for poke. I could have had two fried chicken sandwiches for the same price! The poke was good but portions for the price was ridiculous. It's not much better than mall food court poke but half the fish.

Three gentlemen working the small space were all friendly and helpful when I walked into the space. I originally had to scan their menu for a few minutes - at first glance, it looked overwhelming, but after a few, I began to appreciate the chalk drawings, as it helped to visualize what I wanted in my BYO bowl. I made a salmon bowl, added tofu as an extra protein, and of course tons of the veggie fixings. I picked their ponzu sauce, which is house-made I think the guy said, and it worked well with the components, being lite and flavorful without having to drench the components with it. The salmon was fresh and great quality and went well with the tofu. I also got a side of their Shibazuke (pickled veggies) which was incredibly tasty - light, great sweet and sourish rice vinegar (?) flavor. I could easily eat this every meal of the day! I'll definitely remember this fast-casual restaurant on future stops to Budd Dairy!

A couple nights ago I went to Budd Dairy with my roommates for dinner and drinks. It was a great experience. Budd Dairy has a parking lot in front of it, but at certain times it may get full. We went during happy hour on a Friday from 4-6. All of their signature cocktails were $6. Pokebap is located to the left right when you walk into Budd Dairy. You can order there or sit down and order online. I got the sushi burrito and it was good. I do wish the burritos were more filling. I was still a little hungry after eating it. Additionally, the Ponzu and Pokebap sauces could have used more flavor. I had to add soy sauce to my burrito. Overall the meal was good and if you like sushi, you should try Pokebap.

Great sushi burritos! The restaurant is inside a historic building that houses a multitude of dining options from the various food partners.

100 out of 10 would come here again! Their poke bowls have the freshest ingredients I've had anywhere in Columbus--including their fish which frankly is way better than most of the sushi places I've been to here in Ohio. The staff is friendly and attentive to my dairy allergy and also suggested I get the Seas bowl which I would recommend to anyone...I added half rice and half salad (which they let me know is from a local grower here in Columbus). I love that they support local businesses on top of being ~well~ a local business! Way to go Pokebap, you have a loyal customer!

Nestled conveniently just behind the restrooms of the BDFH Is Pokebap. It's location is perhaps an homage to its existence as something not quite a restaurant, not quite a food truck, nor a fusion cafe, but something in between. From the sullen, joyless employees, to the meager, ineffectual portions, this place left me feeling hungry, sad, and ripped off. I wanted to love this place. I wanted to be able to say "I know a great poke place in my neighborhood!" I had read about the chef, who had travelled to Hawaii and was influenced by the Hawaiian poke tradition and wanted to bring it to Columbus. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. This is not Hawaiian poke, it is barely Japanese style poke. For $16 I was given a tiny portion of fish - albeit yummy fish - and only scant, basic toppings although I asked for "everything". When I inquired to the worker if the 3oz of fish he put in the bowl was all I get, he shrugged and muttered, "we just use these scoops". I should have said, "Well why don't you use these scoops and scoop me some more fish." But instead I just stared at him, exasperated. I get that inflation is real, I do. But I've had some of the best poke on the planet, both in Hawaii and on the mainland, in cities much more expensive and frankly authentic than Columbus. And for $16 in LA I can get poke with more fish, more toppings, more variety, and more if imagination that this place. That's what really upset me. Luckily, my friends had leftover soul food they let me eat so I didn't go home hungry. This place was a total rip off and seemed like an inauthentic, insidious cash grab. 3 stars for the quality of the fish and ingredients, which was high.
