This was our second visit to Polaris Grill. The service was great. The food was wonderful. On a Friday night, they were very busy and very loud. This is an efficient, well run organization that keeps everything moving.
Excellent food, stellar service as always. The booths are a bit cozy for fall people but it was quite busy so did not ask for a table, I'm sure they would have accommodated me if I had. PG is always a reliable great night out
Very flexible on where we wanted to sit. Service had just the right amount of attentiveness. We had two of the autumn specials which were unique and a delight.
We were here for brunch the morning after the Buckeyes game -- really terrific! We sat outside on their BEAUTIFUL patio, and were promptly greeted. I had to work a little with the server on the GF, because the GF menu doesn't include brunch.... I worked out fine! I ordered the Filet Mignon Benedict on GF toast with cheesy grits. It was all very good... the steak was cooked beautifully; the béarnaise had great flavor; eggs poached perfectly. The exciting surprise was the grits, which were cooked to a hard-to-find-in-the-north creaminess, and incredibly tasty. My friend had the Bananas Foster French Toast with chicken sausage, which were delicious -- both were sizable portions, and the maple syrup had bananas in it for extra flavor. Highly recommend trying the Polaris Grill. Their lunches and dinners are just as delicious, and don't miss the "55" dressing!
Good for date night, food is always good with nice seasonal specials. Service is hit or miss. A bit pricy.
I had forgotten that the Polaris Grill is an offshoot of the old 55 restaurant. I was thrilled to see their salad on the menu. It was as good as I remembered.
Lunch with chicken salad on croissant was good. Key lime pie was awesome tasting! Service and atmosphere were very good.
Food was great, service was very good. We were celebrating 3 birthdays and Polaris Grill doesn't offer a free dessert?? Instead you get salad dressing. REALLY? Never have I seen that anywhere else. Free dessert is ALWAYS provided for anniversaries and birthdays. Kinda chintzy after spending $200 on our 4 dinners and a $50 tip. It was disappointing.
The food was absolutely the worst we have had in a long time. I will say, however, I sent a message to the restaurant about our experience and they did get back to me and we're very apologetic and took care of the problem. That says a lot for the company and we will go back and try it again.
Patio was perfect! Our server, Whitney was attentive and nice. We both enjoyed our meals and look forward to our next visit.

Excellent restaurant! We sat on the patio and it was very nice with no noise from the highway exit ramp nearby. Portions are really nice and the food and drink quality was excellent!
This is just based off of my party and the food we had. The bread that was served is definitely my least favorite table bread that I have ever had at any restaurant With the starters, the Shrimp cocktail was good but no better than any other place that has shrimp cocktail. The crab cakes were probably the worst crab cakes I have ever had. The mixed berry salad was VERY good and my mom had the house salad and loved the house dressing. My girlfriend asked for a Caesar and even though it wasn't on the menu, they made her one. For the sides, my daughter had the fries which she said tasted like 5 guys but the kids mac and cheese was horrible, noodles very rubbery. The baked potato was a baked potato, nothing special. However, the scalloped potatoes was THE best scalloped potatoes I have ever ate, AMAZING ! Me and my mom both liked the bone-in Ribeye, my daughter had the NY Strip (which she did not liked and sent back) but the worst part of the entire meal was my gf's Parmesan encrusted chicken when didn't taste like any chicken I have ever had before. We all tried a bite and we all spit it out. That was also sent back. I'm not sure how my gf's chocolate mousse cake was, she just said it was ok and because I don't like chocolate, I didn't try it. I got the pineapple upside down cake which was horrible and I only took 2 bites out of it but I did switch the vanilla ice cream with the pecan ice cream which was VERY good ! The server was extremely nice but service was very slow considering the little amount of guest that were there but it also looked as though she was the only one working so I'm not going to hold that against them. In the end we basically just paid for 2 meals since the chicken and strip was taken off and the bill came to $300. WAY better places nearby that is WAY cheaper. If I ever go back, it will be just for the scalloped potatoes and pecan ice cream.
Great service and food. Nice place to celebrate with out of town family. Great Starters then varied menu allowed everyone to choose a favorite. Dessert was really good especially the Mud Pie.
Was another great visit for my birthday. Weather was fantastic so we were able to dine on the patio. Service was good. Definitely recommend the “55” salad, the mushroom bisque, and the crab cakes.
We've always enjoyed going to Polaris Grill in the past but our meals this time were disappointing. I ordered what I usually have in the past but this time it was very salty overall. My husband's meal was the same.
