I visit this location every single day and i must say reading these reviews i really think people just don’t appreciate this staff here, the management team itself amazing you can tell that Shanta makes sure she sets her team up for the day. I speak to her everyday when I’m there and she’s always smiling and putting her team on point, her managers under her you can tell they have the up most respect for her because when she’s out it still feel like she’s there. Everyone at this location deserves a raise and some more. Day after day they manage to handle huge amount of catering, i one time spoke to Shanta and she stated she was in at 3-4 am and her shift didn’t start until 8am and was not off work til 7pm i don’t know about anyone else but that’s dedication. Please get to know the staff before you judge them you don’t know the day they may have had. People should understand “CUSTOMERS ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT” the food is always fresh, hot and tasty. Don’t listen and read the reviews people lie when they don’t get their way. I’ve witnessed customers get nasty and rude for no reason and i bet it’s because people read these reviews. The shop is always clean from the walls to the floors and restroom by far the cleanest location out of all of the I’ve visited. All i can say is keep up the good work. If i was to ever walk in and hear Shanta or the others no longer work there ill stop eating at potbelly for good.

The sandwiches are decent, but the customer service is severely lacking. During my last visit over six months ago, I had an uncomfortable encounter with a sandwich maker who was unexpectedly aggressive while I was ordering. Unfortunately, the manager on duty offered no support or resolution, which made the experience even worse. Since then, I’ve avoided this location and advised others to do the same.
A friend of mine recently visited and had a similarly unpleasant experience, which prompted me to finally leave this review. I also reached out to customer service at the time and never received a response.
There’s a serious need for improved staff training and better hiring practices at this location. I’ll certainly never return.

Incredibly rude staff all around. Gotta admit, the sandwiches weren’t bad, but ordering here means dealing with a bunch of employees who throw attitude, mock you to your face, and act like you’re committing a crime if you ask for more or less of anything. Pretty sure there are way better spots in the area—and clearly people know it, ’cause the place was completely empty when we walked by today.

Really bad customer service. They got the cheese wrong on two of the sandwiches and they also charged us for four sandwiches when we only got three and when we asked for a refund they tried to give us back only $11 when we were supposed to get back $13 and he knew we were supposed to get back $13.70 bc he said it and it was on the screen but he thought he could get away with only give us $11 back.

I’m happy to say I’d be doing business with Potbelly for every office event that requires catering! My team and I hosted an event today and I had the pleasure of organizing the perfect Luncheon thanks to Shanta and Claire! This Location has a great team. They packaged our Large bundle for 10 perfectly with ample condiments, and a great assortment of chips and cookies. A 10/10 experience, I highly recommend for your next office gathering, charitable event or conference meeting!

Ordered a ago turkey with broccoli cheddar soup $18.05 for half a sandwich and a cup of soup the soup is cold the sand which has avacado and they missed the bread completely wrapped it all in the plastic not even in the sandwich the sandwich isn’t even warm smh

Meisha was really nice I told her this was y first time trying Pot belly she recommended the sky cubaro sandwich which was amazing . She is very nice , respectful and make sure customers are satisfied.

This place sucks with online order, even if you place your order ahead of time u wouldn’t get it …you would get it soon by walk-in which kills the whole purpose of ordering ahead
Last time I waited 25 min after my estimated time and today another 25 min
They would just give an lake response that it’s just an estimated time
On top of it you get your Togo with out proper packing
They were arrogant and argumentative when I asked my order was 20 min delayed, they said to look at line
Hi we are visiting NYC .We've never been to a Pot Belly before so we were a little slow on deciding and knowing what to do.. There were no other people in the line though so we were shocked to find staff rude unfriendly and unhelpful. The guy almost threw the prepared sandwich at me with a surly look and not even the smallest of manners like thank-you or goodbye . We were hoping this would be a 'go to' for our brunches from our Stone St Hotel, but we won't be back.

The service from Misha and another gentleman was absolutely amazing. She was very kind and made my day by offering a free cookie, and showed absolutely delightful service throughout making the sandwich and soup. Five stars I highly recommend, and their BLTA is delicious.

I just came here with my friend, who urgently needed to use the bathroom. I was going to place an order for us, but the cashier started screaming at us. This is the worst attitude I've ever experienced from someone working with customers. I've been living in NYC for almost 3 years, and I’ve never encountered a reaction like this before. We were about to order a sandwich but decided to just buy some sparkling water and leave instead. I don’t remember her name, but she had blonde hair and tattoos. She definitely shouldn’t be working with people.
