There’s a reason the Press Grill has been around forever - good, reasonably priced food on a menu that has barely changed in decades. That’s a good thing - the sandwiches, Mac and cheese, cottage fries, etc. need no improvement. There are daily specials if you’re looking for something different, but most regulars have their thing. Accessibility is an issue at this original location - it’s an old building, so the door is narrow and the tables close together and all high top except a single low top in the back. The Grandview location is easier for large groups or those with mobility challenges, but if those are not barriers for you, you can’t go wrong with the original.

Obviously people like this place. The food is affordable no doubt. Their drinks suck, the obvious premade mix for their margarita is atrocious. Get a pizza and go find drinks elsewhere in my humble opinion

My wife had a pulled pork sandwich and I had a double cheeseburger. Both spot on. Fries were delicious. Service was great. I had 2 budlights and my wife had a rum and coke. The bill was $44.25. Worth stopping in. For sure. Thanks

This is the gem of all the short north food options. Not a diner and not a bar, this spot serves cheap burgers and killer fries. Beer selection isnt bad, theres always a good craft on draft. Service is awesome, bartenders are so nice over the phone when placing to go orders.
