Paid fancy pub prices for less than stellar food. The burger, chips, & pretzels were overcooked & tough. Service was good.

Had a great experience at R Bar! Ryan was an outstanding bartender — super welcoming, genuine, and made me feel comfortable right away, even as a first-time visitor. Excellent service all around, and the burger was absolutely top-notch. Highly recommend!

R Bar is the perfect bar to go to before a game or to hang out in the arena district. The beer flows perfectly and the atmosphere and staff are awesome. With that being said it is basic bar food and I would argue some of it is less than mediocre. The food I ordered this go around was designated just to keep the beer down and the stomach covered. It was actually not appetizing I felt it was something I could have made better at home given cheese sticks and a quesadilla are not hard to accomplish and not hard to achieve flavor. All in all of you are looking for a great spot with good beer and great staff find them. If you want something with a little better food selection there are other places.

Went before a Blue Jackets game. Definitely the best hockey bar in town, nice decor, let me charge my phone behind the bar in exchange for this 5 star review. Food was good not great, great Gameday specials and attentive staff.

We went after a OSU game, so it was a pretty good gameday vibe. Our waitress messed up our drink orders....twice. Our food was forgotten about. In general we were ignored for long periods of time in about a half-empty bar. Before we were about to pay our waitress told us she was going on break, then left before we could get the bill from her. I imagine when the staff is on their game, this place could be a good place to hang. But it was a waste of time for us.
