I grade it based on a non-american average (each grade takes up 20%) and I rate it a 55/100 (C+) putting it above average but by a slight margin. The meats were kinda expensive. Jerk chicken was a great price though. Atmosphere was very pleasant to me. Food taste wasn't bad. The brisket was a little dry because it was reheated but still not bad.

This was my first visit since they opened the Clintonville restaurant location. As a longtime customer (years), I have to say I I was disappointed. In addition to good food, part of what kept me coming back (to the food truck) was excellent customer service and personable people. Sadly, this visit didn't meet those expectations. While I was there, an employee's Chipotle order was sitting on the counter. I will visit again with hopes this last experience was a one off.

This place will more than satisfy your barbecue craving. The customer service was great, friendly, and he looked like he enjoyed answering all of our menu questions. Small indoor seating area, it is connected to fusion sushi on the inside as well. If you see a big fusion sign, you’re in the right place.

I would eat here at least once a week when I lived on campus. When I heard that multiple stores had closed and the owner had gone to the news to ask the for the community’s help supporting their business I thought it would be a great opportunity to have my office buy food from them for our Christmas work party.

When I called the Clintonville store to place the order I was directed to online ordering. When I went to order online I was only able to pickup in Granville…almost 50 minutes away. I called back and the worker didn’t seem to think there was a problem with that and didn’t seem interested in taking our order.

Kind of strange behavior from a business that’s literally begging for customers, but what do I know.

Ray rays treats employees like trash. Owner could not be bothered to respectfully inform employees of locations shutdown. The chef informed them an hour before scheduled shifts the restaurant was closed. Will never support the remaining stores.

Tender and beautifully smoked spare ribs and classic greens made for a flavourful takeout supper. Did takeout so that I could enjoy a cold beer with my barbecue. (Only complaint is I couldn’t buy beer there.). The decor is minimal but there is seating outside near the smoker. Would definitely go again.
