I had the pleasure of having Ray Rays this past weekend. I live in NYC and have eaten a lot of barbecue! The jerk chicken was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had! It was so flavorful and juicy and just purely amazing! Also, the pulled pork is so tender it almost melts in your mouth. Each side and sauce were all incredible but the mustard bbq and mac and cheese were my personal favorites! I will be heading home today dreaming about this restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!!!

We had their food for Thanksgiving this year and it was out of this world. The turkey was amazing and the ham was to die for. We had to swing by and try their BBQ out in the wild and oh boy did they not disappoint.

Listen, Ray Rays is so so good. But why are you at a brewery if it’s going to take 45 minutes to even order?

If you enjoy smoked meats and you are in Columbus Ohio, then you need to go here. These guys operate off a little food truck next to Ace of Cups (a sort of metal/punk music venue). They have a big ole meat smoker and grill set up right next to their truck so you can watch them cook.
The food is absolutely outstanding and pretty reasonably priced. The sweet BBQ sauce is among the best I’ve ever had. They also have burnt cauliflower ends for those vegetarians out there. They also have a quality beverage selection.
The dudes who run it are super nice and friendly and treat everyone with respect. You can order your food and then enjoy it on Ace of Cups patio too. Ray Ray’s is a Columbus staple. Seriously, one of the places that makes this city a little more worth staying in haha.

I’ve had Rayray‘s barbecue at the North location in Polaris and the Franklinton both have been amazing. Their food is hands-down killing everybody else’s. The one in Franklinton I think is really cool because the location is right next to the old three deuces which is now the rehab tavern and they have a beer vending machines outback there’s also a Mikey‘s late night slice right next to, the barbecue pit I think it’s a really cool little area. If you if you didn’t know, then you wouldn’t know that I’ve lived on the side my whole life. I actually bartend at the bar right there when it was three and I still had no clue that was there, no one in Columbus is touching their barbecue not the best day

Always love the food but tonight we tried the rib tip deal for $10 that included a side. My daughter described the meat best “it’s like jerky”. We could barely chew it. It was dry or full of fat.. I guess we got what we paid for. Should have spent more $$ for better food ?♀️ Fries were bomb though
Ray Rays is truly a Columbus gem. The food is incredible. Get the BBQ sampler - “The Meat Sweats” - and experience 5 perfectly smoked meats. The sides are equally delicious & the Land Grant beer garden is a great place to grab a beer to wash down the food.

This RayRays is a food truck with covered picnic table seating. The ribs and mac n cheese were great. The service was friendly and quick. We ate at the picnic tables. You can get drinks from the brewery across the parking lot and there is a big screen TV outside that was showing a European soccer match.
I will say that we walked three blocks from COSI and the area felt a little sketchy.

Very hard to beat wonderful BBQ from Ray Rays while enjoying the incredible atmosphere at Land Grant Brewery. Mac and cheese, pulled pork and brisket are my go-tos but their banana cream pudding is another must if available!

Long time fan of Ray Rays! As a person who does not eat red meat, I love that they have a chicken option on their menu! The jerk chicken sandwich is great! I personally order it with extra slaw for extra crunch! Service is always great and they were super sweet last night and even gave me a pup cup of meat for my dog, which she adored!

One of the few restaurants/food trucks left in Columbus that perfectly balanced quality, quantity, and service. Jerk chicken sandwich never disappoints.
