This restaurant reminds me of Panda Express, except Panda Express is better. The food is bland and mostly flavored with just soy sauce. It is not authentic Chinese food, no matter what other reviewers may say. We ordered some fried rice with our entrees (a soup and sesame chicken), and it was basically just rice with some soy sauce added on top and a tiny scraping of fried egg. Where were the vegetables that should be mixed throughout it? The soup was mostly water with some noodles, like from an instant noodle package (which is more flavorful, by the way). Worst of all was the service: there is no one offering customer service- you just go in and order on one of two tablets or a larger touchscreen. I guess the atmosphere is supposed to resemble a robot-run restaurant.

Always getting the spicy beef noodles and it’s amazing every single time. They also have the best marinated eggs I’ve had in Columbus !!

Super mid honestly. Big menu with every kind of Asian food. My family and I tried many different dishes and none of them stood out. Not great portions and average flavor. Our vegetables didn’t seem cooked and were cold.
Middle of the run ramen spot central to OSU campus. We had wanted to get Diaspora but it has closed and this was the closest asian option. They have guests order at the kiosk and then call your name for you to pick up. Their ramen eggs are so delicious.

The chef, I think he is the owner said that Chow Fun is his best. I also recommend that menu if you want to try some non-Americanized Chinese food. There's some extra chilly oil on the shelves, put them in your plate and you might feel different. The picture I attached is Malatang.
Typical ramen store with regular wait times.
Ordered three dishes, they all taste the same (ma po, gen tso, and spicy chicken). Do they just pour the same spice mix on everything?
Not many veggie options.
Chicken was crispy.
Sesame balls were excellent.
Ok for the price. I might try again.
I've been searching for a place that makes Mapo Tofu perfectly and how I like it. I found it! Never take it off the menu, please. 😋
