I called to explain that they gave me rotten meat and the person on the phone didn't even understand English.
Be careful eating there. They obviously don't keep track of their rotting meat and just serve it to people. Everyone in the room could smell my rancid sandwich.

I found myself in Grandview and decided to try this place - I lived around here years ago so it's probably been 15-20 years since I've eaten here. I remembered the burgers being bomb, and today I can say it still was!!!! I ordered a plain burger with cheese and fries Medium and it was thick and juicy with good flavor! As for the rest.....I walked in and sat at the bar at least 10 mins before anyone showed up. I almost walked out but wqs engaged in a phone call that distracted me. The bartender/server wasn't very nice when she arrived, not even a my bad. After ordering i never saw her again until about 20 mins AFTER I was done eating. You can also tell its dirty. Yes the bar is old but i have 0 doubt they have bugs here. It is what it is. Excellent burger though!

We ordered our food my daughter ordered chicken broccoli fettuccine we were not told they had no cooked chicken breast so it took a while to cook. I ordered a hamburger medium well with fry’s. My burger was med not med well. I ate my fries not my burger. No one stopped by to see how our meal was. We had to go find a server for boxes and our check. Our server did stop by and brought boxes and our check. Our server did not ask how everything was. Even after she saw my burger on my plate. We definitely won’t be back. We’ve heard mixed reviews on the Red Door Taven sadly it did not meet our standards.

The Reuben egg rolls were okay. I had these before in another state and I was anxious to find a place in Columbus Ohio that serves them because I really enjoyed them in the other state, whete it was more meat and little sauerkraut and the perfect amount of cheese. At The Red Door Tavern, it was much much more sauerkraut, with cheese with very little meet. -truly a sauerkraut roll. I'm not a fan of the RDT Ruben egg rolls. My second photo is the image of the one from the other state.

The server was very sweet and attentive so 5 stars for her but as for the restaurant. The restaurant is extremely dirty. As soon as you walk in, it smells like a portapotty. I love a good hole in the wall bar but this is rough. I ordered a draft beer which I didn’t drink because it tasted like vinegar. Like they just cleaned the spout, plus is was warm. I wouldn’t have minded a warm beer if it weren’t vinegar flavored. We then got wings to go and when I bit into one, the odor of the wings made me gag. They sold me rotten wings (: The bones were chipped away from being so rotted and over fried. From someone who was in the restaurant business for 8 years, there is no excuse for a restaurant to be this filthy.
