This bakery is a gem. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The red velvet cupcakes and glaze cake donuts are great and there’s always a great variety to choose from. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.

Went to the new location for the first time today (9 Dec. 2026) to get some beignets and donuts. New location is spacious and inviting, much more up to date than the old one on Livingston. I was surprised to find the place not at all busy, only 4 or 5 customers. The faces behind the counter were all new to me, but the service was as friendly as ever. The donuts and beignets were pretty, but all tasted of old fry oil, not good at all and certainly not worth the premium price you pay at Resch's. Kroger donuts taste better, even if they are a bit smaller and less visually appealing. I may go back again some time, but if the food is again strongly tasting of bad oil my next visit will be my last. I'd rather have the old drab-looking store location with the old employees who made tasty treats than the new, harder to get to location with overpriced nasty tasting donuts.

The donuts were average and similar to what you can find at many other bakeries. I can understand why they’re popular, especially for those who have nostalgia from visiting the original Livingston Avenue location growing up and getting excited seeing the box on the counter when your parents/grandparents surprised you, but as an adult - I found them a bit underwhelming. They also felt more expensive compared to other local options.

I have to say. One of the best doughnuts I've had ever. Pure quality. Pure craftsmanship. These doughnuts are better than my hometown doughnut shop and that's saying something.

Honestly since they moved from Livingston I have noticed a metal flavor in the doughnuts. They don’t taste the same at all and I won’t be back.
Wish they had coffee when you enter the bakery. It does take time to be serviced for your order. It would be nice if they had gluten-free options. I know they are tough to prefect. However, chocolate decadence cakes, cheese cakes, & no bake cookies are always good options options.
