rib tips are wonderful so tender
Saw that the Ribman was in the area and decided I would hit them up. Ordered the rib tips with Mac and cheese, greens and baked beans. The rib tips were nice and juicy with a perfect bbq sauce on them, slightly sweet. He should be bottling it to sell. The greens were perfect, a mild taste, cooked just right and had small bits of pork in them. The baked beans had chopped up red/green peppers with a mild taste in the sauce. The Macaroni and cheese was off the chart, a super smooth flavor to the cheese. Delicious!!! I have to talk about the owners. Such great people, Tony and Anastasia. In this business you have to really love it beyond the money and they certainly exhibit that. Also an added tidbit to tell this is a serious operation is they are doing their smoking with a Southern Pride smoker with apple wood that gives that mild flavor to the meats. If you get the chance, check them out. You won’t be disappointed.
Great experience, great food, great owners. The ribs were the best I’ve ever had. The Mac and cheese was fantastic and shack sandwich was huge!! Great deserts as well. May have to get a whole sweet potato pie next time because one piece wasn’t enough. Check them out you will not be disappointed
Amazing smoked drumsticks and great fried okra.
My Brother, Seldom does fine dining come nestled in a plastic bag. I expected the brisket to be good as normal; however, it was so tender, flavorful, and the sauce was perfection. The coleslaw was the best I’ve had in years. I’m used to sweet or savory slaw, but I’ve never experienced the two combined in such a way to provide the best of both worlds. This coleslaw could complement any dish. I didn’t expect much out of the baked beans because they are baked beans, but I was surprised that you all didn’t skimp. You could have just opened a can and served as is. But these beans had a unique something that hit the spot. I haven’t eaten the cobbler yet, but I took a little taste in order to complete my review. Man that cobbler makes me wanna fill a glass of milk right now. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
At Mayme Moore Park. I thought 3 bones fror $10? Well- it was worth it!!!! Meaty, juicy but cooked well, tender & delicious. Sauce the bomb too. Now I'll have to try the rest of the menu.Lines were slow!Otherwise, kudos to yall's cooking.
Wanted a Clevelander at the Heritage Fest but they ran out of Hotdogs and replaced it with a polish sausage. Needless to say…. It was spectacular. I will be driving to Ace Hardware in New Albany to get another. Best Bar B Q in the 614.
I had the pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw and mac & cheese from the food truck and it was spectacular! Best coleslaw I've ever had! The pulled pork is juicy and tender and the mac & cheese has lots of flavor. Will definitely eat here again.

Oh my! Best pulled pork and Brisket we have ever had! Simply melts in my mouth! We even got to meet Twinkie- the cutest shih tzu in New Albany!
Come back to Ace Hardware in New Albany.
Delicious food, and wonderful people.
Best ribs in Columbus! Tender, juicy, big, flavorful, meaty ribs and the price is right. I’ll be back!
This guy calls himself the Ribman which after tasting his ribs is such a fitting name. In my opinion I think the sleeper is his half smoked chicken which was absolutely amazing. Make sure you ask to get it smothered in his delicious barbecue sauce. On a side note you can't go wrong with any of his sides. Thanks again Ribman for such an amazing meal!!!!
