I'm probably going to say this wrong, but this place is the longest operating restaurant in Columbus, established in 1897!
I was frantically looking for a place to eat yesterday evening, not realizing most places close around 7pm. I wandered into Ringside around 7:45pm and they close at 8. The waitress and cook were both great, I ordered, ate, talked with both of them, and left.
I ordered the Smokin' Joe BBQ Burger with house-made chips. Both were delicious and the burger came with a generous amount of lettuce and tomato. There is also a nice selection of beers available.
The ambiance was what you may expect from a joint having opened in 1897. Beautiful wooden booths and tables, stained glass windows, brass highlights, I could imagine myself taking part in history!

We thoroughly enjoyed our perfectly prepared veggie burger and Jack Dempsey burger. It's no wonder this place has been in business for almost 150 years.

The best burger in town. It did not disappoint. The place could use a bet of polishing but lots of old timey atmosphere

Great pub grub, decent prices, down to earth service, cool historically significant building with a bit of spooky lore. Also - the fries were scientifically perfect. Couldn’t ask for more! 11/10.

Great burgers, chips and onion rings. Good service. Pretty cool to be in the oldest bar in Columbus but seating is limited.

This place advertised on Groupon so I bought the 40 dollar voucher for my husband and I to have lunch for us to enjoy time together. The waitress was good until halfway through my burger I found a hair cooked into the meat. I told the waitress and she became very stand offish with us. She would not give us the bill she was ignoring us. Finally when the bill did come she refuse my groupon and then she refused a tip. and brushed us off with the worst aditude. NEVER AGAIN. Maybe you should teacht the staff to have some manners. If your company advertised coupons be courteous to new customers trying out the restaurant.

After 10 years of wanting to visit, I finally made it to this hidden gem—Columbus’ oldest bar, dating back to 1897. The limited hours mean you’ll need to plan your visit carefully, but it’s worth it! I came for drinks, which were expertly crafted by the bartender and reasonably priced, but the massive, mouth-watering burgers caught my eye. I’ll definitely be back to try them. The iconic boxing theme adds to the charm, making it a must-visit spot in downtown Columbus.

Such a fun place! It is literally a hole in the wall, but so cool when you walk in. Set in the 1890s, the atmosphere is so unique. And the pulled pork sandwich and burgers, as well as fresh made chips, are soooo good! Would recommend for a place in downtown Columbus.
