I've lived in Columbus my whole life and this is the first time I've been to the Ringside Cafe. I can't wait to go back, it was amazing. It's like boxing and burgers got together and made some kind of burger heaven. All of the hamburgers are named after championship boxers. I had the biggest baddest one on the menu, the James Buster Douglass Burger. A double burger with one and a half pounds of beef, coleslaw, bacon, and cheese on a bun with a pound of fries on the side. I'm pretty sure I could have ate the whole thing by myself but I was only in there for lunch and I wanted to function for the rest of the day so I split it with my date. Their hours are 11 to 2:00 and 4 to 10. And parking can be a challenge I suggest paid parking on Gay Street. There is also a parking lot about a block around the corner and if all else fails there are parking garages all over the place.

Second time here. Burgers are the best in town! Very cool, historic, dimly lit tavern style bar. Feels like stepping back in time! Parking can be a pain....look for parking up around Tip-Top Kitchen and the Buckeye Bourbon Bar. Very cool place!

We stopped in here last evening for burgers. I had been in once before - but that was like 10 years ago. I remembered a good burger way back when so we tried it again. This place is SMALL. The menu is not large. It is actually (we found this out later) considered the oldest continuously operating bar/restaurant in Columbus. We liked our burgers a lot and appreciated them being cooked the way we ordered them. And the house-made chips on the side were also excellent. I won't wait 10 years before stopping in again. They had a tiny draft beer list but several ice cold Ohio beers in cans and that worked well for us. Despite having a pretty small staff we got seated and served reasonably quickly. The staff was really hustling and they deserve a shout out for that. One word of caution - despite having an outside patio, they may not have enough staff to adequately serve the patio. They were openly admitting this - come inside for service.

They have the best buffalo chicken sandwich in Columbus. Everything is great and the place is quaint yet dingy - in a good way

The kind of burger you don’t set down once you start eating!! Food had great flavor and the environment was really cool with old school bar vibes. Stained glass windows and pew like booths.

Ringside Cafè is not eat I expected, it was much better! It’s a small hole in the wall old timey bar with incredible burgers. The menu is small but don’t that discourage you. All their burgers are packed with flavor and are very filling. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will even tell you spooky encounters they’ve had here. Yes! It’s haunted!! I will come back again and again!

My sister and I had an excellent time here and consider it a lil known gem in the downtown Columbus area. The fresh fries and house made chips are want and filling. Couldn’t rave enough about their burgers and ruebans!
