I love this place! I live in Greenwood, IN, but had to visit for my birthday! I had the beef sambusa for my appetizer, and pilau with fish for my main course. I had the Chai Masala and don’t think I’ll ever be able to order anything else drink wise. If you want authentic zanzibarian food then this is the best. Mashallah!
I got the Zanzibar special with bone in goat meat, it was just okay for me. The goat meat was lukewarm so you know what that typically means. The sambusa with ground beef was really good.
Decided to take take a quick trip to Columbus and try this spot. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY worth the drive. We will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. The owner was so kind, and the staff was attentive and friendly as well.
