I absolutely love the food. I have had a less great bowl once - the rice was terribly hard. Other than the once, all of my meals have been great.
They've never gotten an order incorrect and I have made several mods on the food.
The only opportunity is the inconsistency - I order the same thing everytime, but you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at it. I do not mind this personally, but consistency with a dish is something restaurants typically strive for.
They are very quick, food always tastes fresh. And the procong is fair in my opinion. I highly recommend.

Apparently this is double chicken? Not sure in what world that would be the case. They’ve been getting more and more stingy with meat lately and honestly, it’s really annoying. Restaurants like this just need to start weighing it in front of you, it’s ridiculous. $18 for this bowl.

Highly recommend the Balboa with everything in it. The chicken is so good !!!! Great vibes and delicious food. Staff was great and the food is fresh and flavorful.

Quick and easy delicious food! I ordered through the Roots website and my order was ready right on time when I went to pick it up. The portions were really fairly sized and everything tasted fresh and light while still being very filling. I really like how they have a good portion of yummy vegan options (particularly the tofu!). As a OSU this was also very convenient as it’s just right off campus. I will be going back again!
Fear not, my fellow celiacs. You can safely eat here! 🙌 Tell them you have an allergy and they will change gloves, avoid allergens and sanitize surfaces. They care about your safety and the food is incredible. 5 stars! ⭐

I tried Roots recently and ordered the Pesto Caesar Salad for $14, and honestly, it was really disappointing. For the price, I expected something fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, but instead I got a bowl that felt skimped on everything. There was barely any dressing, the toppings were minimal, and the whole dish tasted mediocre at best. For $14, this salad should have been hearty and well-balanced, but instead it felt like an overpriced afterthought. Definitely not worth it there are plenty of places nearby where you can get a better salad for less.

For anyone who is vegetarian, vegan, gluten-intolerant, or anyone who wants to eat healthier, this is THE place on OSU campus to go! I always get the build-your-own bowl option with avocado added. If you like Chipotle or Sweetgreen, then you'll love this place as this fast-casual restaurant is like a combination of both restaurants. Children ages 12 and younger are able to eat here free with the purchase of an adult entree. You won't be disappointed with your meal.
