This place is garbage now. Back then it was booming. But now the outside looks the same as the inside. The smell of the place too. Makes you don't even want fish or shrimp.. my opinion that's all.

Worst experience ever christmas ever everthing was closed so I decided to try my luck i was fresh out. The atmosphere was horrible It felt unsafe. There was a homeless guy sitting in the lobby who was talking to all of the patriots, but you could figure out what he was talking about, cause he was so intoxicated, the place was not well-lit outside and it was dark and in a rough neighborhood once inside. It looked like somebody had literally put the place together with old newspapers and trash bags and garbage that they had found. In the alley, you could not see where the food was being made or what the situation was going on in the back it took twenty minutes for me to get some cold fries and some rubbery cold fish🤔 don't do it i repeat don't do it food was absolutely horrible 15.00 straight down the swoosher

I will never betray J Lemon Pepper again. Thought I was saving myself a trip. I thought wrong. I should have just traveled further east. This place gets half a star. Here’s a positive comment… They showed the utmost respect while taking my money and serving me overcooked fish and chicken fried in old grease. Okra was not good and I paid for a large and received a regular size. As I said, I should have just went to J Lemon Pepper.

This was my first time visiting here. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. My Whiting fish was crispy and seasoned well. No fishy taste at all. The chicken was good but the fish stood out more to me. The fries were just ok.
Scarier on the inside than out. You can buy a box of Cherrios, cans of red beans, gyro. Security is Paramount here, you will receive your food through a small opening in the protective glass...I am serious.

I called to ask questions about the menu and location and to try to place an order. someone answered and hung up immediately. I assumed it was a glitchy phone so I called in a total of 8 times trying to place an order and they literally hung up on me all 8 times. They would answer each time and hang up on purpose. Their customer service was so terrible that I will never order from them. A good company that wants to last has great customer service and a part of having a business is answering the phone. These are basic things any company should have and they don't value the customer Or their business. I don't recommend them. It's not worth the headache. Go somewhere else that can simply answer your questions.
