Extremely rude management! I called to share my experience and was repeatedly interrupted. The manager spoke to me in a condescending tone and assumed I should already be familiar with merchant regulations at the liquor store.?!?!
If they choose to apply a surcharge for credit card purchases, federal regulations require two things: 1. The charge must apply only to actual credit cards—not debit cards. 2. The surcharge must be explicitly disclosed to the customer and appear as a separate line item on the receipt.
Neither of these requirements were met. I was not made aware of any surcharge at the time of purchase, and for that reason, I will be filing a formal complaint.
I would not recommend their food or their service. Hope this helps someone else avoid the same experience.
